Classic Bible Comics Paperback – March 23, 2021

A great way to get a child or teeny-bopper interested in the Bible. I have a number of great grandsons and this fit the bill as a Christmas gift.

I have been looking for this version of the Bible (in comic form) for years. I had it when I was a kid and it came along with a cassette dramatization that you could read along with.Sadly this don't come with an audio suppliment, BUT it is the original graphic novel in a more compact version. None of the artwork, lettering or coloring have been altered or remastered, which I actually prefer in this case; it keeps it authentic to the original.This doesn't have EVERY story in the Bible and I think it also kinda skips a some of the major ones that everyone knows, but It's still good. It has the birth, death and ascension of Jesus and I guess that's the most important thing in the New Testament, right?!The binding is good and it's a typical softcover graphic novel. It's compacted from the one I had as a kid, which was very tall and oversized. This is now more of an almost square shape.I recommend it HIGHLY!

This is a great little comic book! I was expecting it to be thicker, but I appreciate that it tells stories straight from the Bible without adding any detail (as far as I’ve noticed).There are some parts that are hard to read because of the printing (for example, black ink on a dark purple background in one place). But overall it’s great. Love the comic style with so many pictures and great artwork.

Per the title of my review, the scans are poor quality, text/ images are often stacked on top of each other, and text cut off. At 15 bucks its a rip. Should cost 5 at a grocery store checkout.
