My hat was a smidge too large. I contacted the seller who was very helpful and mailed some foam pads to adjust the fit. Also, the hat is of excellent quality.

The Tilley T1 is a great all around summer hat. It is lightweight and has just enough brim to be totally effective. I took the advice of other reviewers and bought it a size larger than I felt that I needed and am totally happy with the purchase.

This is my 8th Tilley. Beat hat ever. This model runs a little small so should have ordered a little larger version, but working in stretching it out.

My husband has little smaller head so usually regular hat doesn't fit well but this has size choices so fits well.

My husbands favorite hat to wear walking, working in the yard etc. easy to wash. This is his second one. Love it.

The hat looks great and fits perfectly.

I have about six Tilley hats of different kinds, and they are all excellent in their own way. This one is a great casual but smart bucket hat that protects from the sun but the shape of the brim makes it easier to wear in a high back seat like in the car.

But the usual TIlley high quality are definitely present.

Seems a good hat that does not make me look too daft in the sun!
