I LOVED IT!
*REVIEWING FOR ROCK HARD ROMANCE*The last 'Heartbreak' brother's story~ Cameron (30) who's been living and breathing football all his life, and for the last nine years professionally in the NFL, having suffered injuries, faces the reality continuing to play, risking his health~ or retire. He heads back home to decide what he's going to do.Mia Devlin,(33) soon-to-be-divorced mother of two boys (Michael 14 Josh 8) has ended up in Hartson Creek for a new start, and her first introduction to Cam, does not go too well, as her boys accidentally damage his car.I won't say too much as to all that happens, their attraction builds, another slow burn romance, with some emotional moments, and drama unfolding along the way- there are some hilarious interactions between Cam and his brothers (who have all returned to the small hometown and now settled with their significant others) I've loved reading each story, and as with the rest, this is easily followed as a Standalone, with their younger sister's Becca story to come, I look forward to reading it.

Good series. Better to read the books in order for a better experience.
Cam Hartson had to re-evaluate his life after a life threatening injury playing football. He returned to his home town to recuperate and think about his next move. He met Mia who hadnt a clue who he was and he thought she would be a way to enjoy his time until she blanked him. That was novel for a start. He met her again when her sons managed to damage his car and he still found he wanted to know her. The chase was on especially when he found out how her ex had treated her. It didnt take long for things to become more that just a fling and then then things started to go wrong and Mia had to chose.

Fantastic Series
Mia and Cam’s story is another great read for this series. She’s a cheated on single parent of two boys and he’s a hot, sexy NFL football star. The attraction is instant when they first meet after her son’s damage Cam’s expensive car with a football. Cam is back in his hometown considering his career after a serious injury. But, football is his life and all he’s ever done and living in Boston means a potential long distance relationship. Could it work between him and Mia? Will her boys be happy if they have a relationship? I loved this book and can’t wait to read Becca’s story.

Sweet, heart warming romance.
This is or the first in the series but the book I began with. I have really enjoyed reading Mia and Cams story. I wanted Mia to find a backbone and give her ex hell, never mind her son with his attitude to allowing his Dad to meet someone but not his Mom. You can read these as standalone's but like me, you find it's better to read the series in order. Something I'm off to do now. I definitely recommend this series.

Cam and mia
I liked this storyline, I liked how there was no ex's getting in the way. This one was different a son Michael but she was letting him walk all over her, his dad had a girlfriend so it's ok for her to and she should of talked to him about it and explain it would not be the same as his dad going off to be with them instead she let him walk over her I get in the moment can had to leave so she could talk to her son.that's putting him first but to say bye was wrong.

For someone like me!
I got this book as a recommendation and after reading the blurb bought it. I don't expect to fall in love with the characters as they were falling in love and utterly adored Carrie's writing style. The small town feeling with the big city love was addictive. This book had all the feels and I really didn't expect the book hangover I know I'm already having! Carrie Elks has just become a one click author for me!

Single Mom and Retiring NFL star
This story is very romantic. I really thought this was the BEST book in this series. Her sons are great fun throughout the story. The issues of single parenthood collide with the struggle to deal with Traumatic Brain Injuries. I kinda wish the coaching had worked out... but kids never like to listen to parent figures. I enjoyed this story.
