Redcat Racing 28026N RC 370 Version 2 Motor

The power connector was wrong for my application, but I unsoldered the cable on this one and replaced it with the one from the old motor. It all worked beautifully and similar or better speed. The old motor was a 370 as well and eventually burnt up. After changing the cable, this one fit and connected right up.

Fortunately Amazon did not make me return this item because I had already thrown out the packaging. So I took the motor apart to see what failed and it appears the one of the brushes completely disintegrated. I never could find any of the pieces. My 5 year old son was so disappointed and so the hunt continues for a decent 370 sized motor.

This is finally the only motor that has worked more than 1 full charge on my dromida mt 1/16. So far I’m on my 4th charge and still running strong. I went through 5 other motors including 3 dromida rePlacements and 2 latrax motors. They all failed after 1 charge. I tried normal break in and water break in with zero luck. This motor I ran half throttle for 10 min to break it in. Hopefully it’ll last a lot longer as my 3 year old has been disappointed after I tell him I fixed his truck then it breaks soon after. Happy 3year old at the moment

Replaced the stock motor on my wpl 2 speed gear box with this motor and WOW. Easily 30% speed boost and still crawls amazing in low gear.

A drop in replacement for a dromida truck. Did water break in with cleaning and relube. So far working good. Wish I knew how many turns it is...

Nice little motor. I used it to replace a 260 motor on my 1/16th scale rock climber. I had to make some minor modifications to my motor mount but this added a BUNCH of power and speed.I think this being version 2 fixes the problems they had with the previous ones burning up.I have run this motor for 30 minutes straight crawling and trail running and it only got warm.

Used on a modified WPL 6x6. I've learned to like Redcat products as a budget friendly quality brand. this motor holds up like a champ, not getting too hot on 2s lipo's and being driven for well over an hour at a time without dying. Love it!

Exact same size motor. You do have to swap the plug, I just took it from the old motor and made this work for $3 cheaper and prime shipping. Plug is identical just wrong connection, had to go from female to male plug.

Perfect replacement for our rc car. Plug and play!

No modification needed…you have to solder it. Used stock screws on the motor mount. and it handles 2s lipo just fine. Would buy again!
