It is quite expensive, so this a real advantage . I use before my dogs go outside. It seems to work reasonably well as part of a wider regime.I flea comb regularly to keep on top of things. If I find any fleas, I use a cedar based spray. I have sprayed it directly onto fleas and they have died on contact. I apply it outside just before my dogs exercise as its quite a strong smell, that way not only can the dead and dying fleas fall off outside but the smell has settled down before my dogs go back inside as it could be a bit over powering for them.
