Works great!
It gets very hot where I live and this works. When I put sugar water outside without this, it gets cloudy very fast. I just put in one capful per cup of water and it doesn’t get cloudy til I change the water.

Please use this. It works. Let's stop being lazy and keep em clean and FRESH
Another great product for helping us mere humans do what we should Always do is be responsible when setting up any trust arrangement with unsuspecting, grateful of course in high need of our help since we've encroached, paved, used and depleted too many natural clean water sources, streams, sepheneral springs, and estuaries +thanks fast food jerks of plastic polluters! Nectar occurs in native flowers--but box stores sell mass produced, sterile hybridized to death anuals and perennial flowers, so when the hummers excitedly notice your flowers, but are disappointed, you can point them to your CLEAN NECTAR FEEDER WITH ready nectar and this stuff! It extends freshness a whooping up to 10 days I think. Thank you! I use it every time but only just to be sure it stays fresh for my normal time between nectar changes. +I also wrap my GLASS feeders in cotton terry cloth towel strips that I also get wet and cold in fridge then wrap feeders to keep nectar cold then at min cool. Hot will ferment and could kill these birds. Btw, more than 3 hummingbirds is considered not a flock but a "Tune"! A group of finches is called a "Charm" love it!! Lol(a group of Chickadees, a "Band"

Worth the $$ for your hummingbird sugar water food
I make my own mix up and basically have to change it out by day 3 as at least one of them is fermented. If the feeder is in the sun for a lot of the day, it always goes bad. Anyway, I saw this and was skeptical. But it really works. I tested a feeder and left it in the sun for two weeks and then changed it out. It only had a slight aroma of fermentation; it was just “on the turn,” so it really works. I actually fill my feeders halfway and they get drunk out within a week and clean and replace. This liquid is very much worth the money. Buy the two-pack and keep it refrigerated. It’s absolutely worth the money.

Works to keep nectar fresh
This product is amazing. It keeps hummer nectar fresh and crystal clear for a solid two weeks. We have regular hummingbird visitors at our feeders but not large numbers of them, so they don't go through it very fast. I was routinely throwing nectar out after a few days, especially in warm weather, even though I use small capacity feeders. I didn't want to risk it going bad and harming the hummers. Sugar is cheap, but it's nice to be able to fill the feeders and leave them for a week or two without worrying about the nectar going bad. Great product.

Price but good
We had daily hummingbirds until a baby owl stayed in our backyard for a week until he learned to fly. The nectar has stayed very clear for a week since we haven’t seen any visitors. It is pricey and goes fast!

No color and safe for the Hummingbirds - No slimy building up in the feeder.
I tried this product and was very happy. At the end of a week there was NO slime in my feeder which makes cleaning a snap. I do not use any chemicals or soap to keep the feeders clean. I just wipe with a paper towel and hot water and rinse really well. The top of my feed comes off which makes cleaning easier. I do not know about bottle style feeders but I assume the cleaning would be easier in any type of feeder you have. The hummers need clean nectar or they will not return to your feeder. For the money, I recommend you try this product. I think you will be amazed.

Works Great
Before using this product it would take less than a week for my hummingbird feeders to get yucky, then they would stop feeding (I didn’t blame them). After using this product, the lifetime of our homemade nectar is endless. At least I can’t say how long it lasts since the feeders empty before it can go bad. Definitely lasts longer than two weeks.

Great for the hummers
This stuff works great. Before using this, I would have to replace the nectar in my feeders every third or fourth day or it would ferment and smell terrible. Adding this, I only have to change the nectar about every 10 days and there is still no smell! The hummers seem to not notice any difference with it in the nectar. They say it is actually beneficial for the birds!

It works
This product is easy to use and seems to work well. I've only tried it once, however, the hummers are very active at the feeder.
