Well made, well worth it
If you’re looking for a heavy duty shelf insert, this is the product for you. I installed this in my hard to reach cabinet and have been happy with it since day one. It’s a perfect fit and has completely changed the way I use this cabinet.

How did I live without this?
My 1960's kitchen has the dreaded built-in-place cabinets with blind corners upper and lower. Instead of putting things into the blind and then only finding them again when I move (sigh), I decided to invest in this unit. It was a challenge to install (my helper was an engineer, so that was lucky ...) but I LOVE IT!! I can't believe how easy it is to use, such a clever design and *super sturdy*. Watch the videos before you install. I had to go back to the video a few times during install. In the end, it isn't that difficult, just hard to try to depict in 2-d in paper form. I had considered redoing all the cabinetry to get more usable space, but this unit makes it so I will just paint the fronts and change hardware. Score!

Exceptional customer service + installation tips
The media could not be loaded. This is the third shelf I purchased from Spreetail and their customer service was phenomenal. I communicated with Spreetail multiple times through Amazon and each time (even during the holidays) I received a detailed reply within 30 minutes. Spreetail could not have been easier to work with!Shipping - as stated, I ordered three of these items on separate occasions. Each one had estimated delivery dates anywhere from 3-5 days after my order. However, all 3 items arrived the very next day. I don't know if Spreetail pays for expedited shipping or not but this delivery time was outstanding. As for the product - well made, very sturdy, seemingly very durable. The soft close feature is very nice. I've loaded my shelves with very heavy stone/glass baking dishes and it works just as smoothly as if it was empty. Just installed but it seems to be a very well made product. I could see how a cheaper item could have issues with performance. Perhaps you get what you pay for here?Installation - the instructions could certainly use some customer feedback. They are clear if you micro-analyze the photos and count all parts in advance. I think they envision you assembling this entire thing outside of the cabinet then putting it into the cabinet afterward. If you can do that, good luck. But that is not feasible for most (all?) of us. I do recommend three things for installation: 1) find a YouTube video demonstrating the installation and watch it first. 2) Assemble the entire thing outside of your cabinet first to test the functionality and movement of all the mechanisms. Then disassemble the vertical shelf holder from the base and move it into the cabinet for final installation. 3) Don't screw the base into the cabinet floor until the LAST step (not the first as in the instructions). You will likely want to make some position adjustments when the whole thing is done so make those final adjustments, remove the wire baskets temporarily, and then screw the base into the cabinet.

Instructions don't work with IKEA
I contacted Rev-a-shelf prior to purchase. I wanted to know if they knew whether their optimizers worked in IKEA blind corner cabinets. The assistant could not advise me. I decided to purchase based on the info on their website. I precisely measured and installed the base to my cabinet base. I then assembled the cabinet. After my cabinets were installed, I installed the rest of the frame. I then discovered that the panel for the door hinges was interfering with the unit. After disassembling, I repositioned and got it to work after a couple of tries. However, one handle had to be removed to clear the frame. Anothrr issue I had was with the hanging baskets. Some hooks were wide and others were narrow. I used a screwdriver to widen the hooks so the baskets could be hung. Note that the position of the baskets can be adjusted so that they will clear the frames when pulled out. Overall, these are easy to assemble once you have the dimensions sorted out. I did this by putting everything together including the baskets and checking for clearance in all positions. Now that it is in, I am happy with the unit but need to purchase an acorn nut to cover the exposed screw. Rev-a-shelf does not offer nor have awareness of a suitable knob that could replace the longer handle.

Love mine!
It wasn't easy to install, but it is a gem! Slides easily, holds a lot and allows me to make good use of an otherwise wasted space.

Installation thouughts
I have read that this shelf was confusing and difficult to install. It is not, but here are a few helpful hints: first, watch the Kitchen Source's video on You Tube. Do not bother watching Rev-A-Shelf's video or trying to understand the written instructions. Note that the instructions for screw position differ from Rev-A-Shelf written instructions and Kitchen Source's video. In the long run the position will be the same. Next, make a positioning jig to go along the side of the base the depth of the shelf. This will help position the base sideways, then all you need to worry about is the position forward and back. The width of the jig will depend on your cabinet's face overhang. Don't wait to put the handles on until the end- it can be done but it is a MAJOR pain. Do it before the frame is installed. Lastly, in my second picture, the "guide" will not seem to fit properly and it will block movement of the shelfing unit. No one explained that it SHOULD block the movement of the sliding mechanism. I struggled for a long time with this, then realized that it's purpose is to conntrol the timing of what is pulled out from the cupboard, so you don't mash the sliding shelves into the outside/inside of your cabinets. Install it in faith and it will work. I am VERY pleased with quality and sturdiness of the unit. I plan to put little used items in the blind area behind the Rev-A-Shelf. All I will need to do is take the shelf off, easy to do!!

width of racks
The only downside is there is not enough room on each rack to store larger bowls. However, due to door sizes, it is likely impossible to change the design.

Excelente producto!!
Excelente !!
