Was expecting these to be more of a short straw but they are a little more than a stir stick instead

Get the longer ones.
I love these drink straws, they’re bigger around than a normal stir stick. Get the longer ones, you can always cut them in half for your martinis.

Skinnier than others
My goal was to use these as a straw, not a swizzel stick. I had loved my previous straws that were called Jumbo, and were .24" diameter. They were no longer available, so I bought these instead. These are .16" diameter and are more like a stirrer, than a straw. Nothing wrong with them, just know what you're using them for, and choose based on this info.
