Replaced an ill metal halide fixture with this light. Very well made. Night and day difference (pun intended). No kidding, this is a great light and puts out a lot of light. Will buy another.

Totally usable in a residential environment, of course, but the quality of this light screams out 'industrial quality'. By far, the best feature of this light the adjustable output, from 9 to 54 watts. That's a HUGE range of brightness. 9 watts almost seems like a dim fluorescent bulb, 54 watts seems like the sun come out at night.Unless you're looking to save energy, and this only uses 54 watts at step "8", I recommend leaving it at step 7...you'll still get a LOT of brightness, and you won't be driving the LED driver at its maximum output, which has a tendency to make them run warm and shorten their lifespan.Love the build quality and adjustability of this light. It would be at home on the side of any factory or outbuilding, or anywhere you need a good (adjustable) security light.

Bought this 7 months ago and just tried to install it. Everything went fine with installation except the light didn't work. Everything was installed correctly. Electricity flowing. Nothing. Opened the light to check and finally noticed the wires that power the LED’s where both detached and placed in a manner that looked like they were attached. Felt very deceptive. So i either someone returned it broken and it wasn't checked or its new and wasn't checked. So yeah, had to go to box store and get a light thus spending double not pleased with this purchase at all.

The Lithonia ALO (adjustable light output) DDBTXD TWX2 LED light is built to last. It is constructed of a heavy duty metal housing and thick glass lens that will protect the internal components for many years. It takes a 1/8" allen wrench to open it. From the instructions, it appears it should have come with one, but I didn't receive it. Not a big deal since most anyone that would take on a project like this will have a few laying round in the house anyway. Once open you can set the light output with the potentiometer in the base half. The corresponding chart on the lid half shows what each setting level is the equivalent to of a halogen light. This is a very large light. I misread the dimensions so found it will not be able to be installed where I had first planned. There are a few other places I can install it; will just have to run power to it. With that said, it is going to take a little while before it goes up, but I am sure just from the exceptional construction of the fixture that it will meet or exceed my expectations. You can tell the company built this with quality and function in mind.

another great Lithonia product....This light is very bright, but well diffused.but it has an adjustable lumen output, impressive...the higher you mount the lights, the brighter they can be as light expands outward, which reduces lumens in any given area. The lights are sleek and modern looking and build like tanks. While they show a pix for commercial, if you have a big house, and mount these high, they are great for walkways, back yard, front yard with motion sensor to compliment smaller lightseasy to wire.. mounting options vary based on what u are mounting too...recommended!!!

This is a large and heavy light that is more at home on a warehouse than one the side of a normal person's house. The metal housing is thick and robust, the lens can also take a beating. It puts out an immense amount of light. The problem I encountered for home use is that it is -big-. It turns out that normal little porch lights are usually pretty close to a door - either just to the side or just above. This fixture is too big for those locations. Where it does fit is above the garage.

This is a great security light with a strong downward light with good angle and very nice ability to adjust light intensity. The color is accurate at 4000k and is easy to install. There is only the one larger light in this offering. I do recommend this light for a large area.
