A taste of childhood.
When my wife heard I was ordering sorghum she was a little surprised, but after showing her we could not get it in the store, she understood.Back when we were really young, sorghum and butter was what folks like to put on their biscuits. We did have jams and jelly, but sorghum has a distinct taste from syrup or molasses that everyone in the family liked. Nice and sweet, but with a bit darker flavor than syrup, but not as dark as molasses.Oberholtzer's hit the spot. Upon opening and taking the obligatory sample, it took me straight back to sitting at my granny's table with everyone sitting around the table for breakfast before going out to the lake or out into the piney woods.I like it for pancakes, biscuits, toast and for using to make sauces instead of using honey or other sweeteners.The plastic jug came securely wrapped and the cap was intact upon arrival. And it was in a box with other items, so no problems in delivery.Can easily recommend and will buy again once we are done.

I grew up in Central Kentucky. I’m pretty sure that my grandfather took me to the place where these were made. If not, they taste the same and take me back to my childhood. These go best with a basket of fresh-made biscuits, some butter and a lot of cold milk.Thank you for bringing back one of my favorite memories. You’ve got a lifetime customer.

Best taste
We love OBERHOLTZER'S Sorghum, they don't have a strong taste like most.My husband has a lot of stomach issue's, and other sorghum's hurts his stomach.OBERHOLIZER SORGHUM HAS A SMOOTH MILD ,NOT HARSH TASTE.

Better than expected!
I found out about this product through one of my favorite Food Network shows. I am a huge fan of adding sweetness to a dish that has some depth of flavor and this didn't disappoint. The texture is like a smooth honey and the taste is like mixing honey and molasses together. It has a dark color, similar to a high grade maple syrup which will effect the color of your dish. The nice sweet smokey flavor is well worth the addition to any kitchen.

Great rich taste
I grew up eating Sorghum. Oberholzer's doesn't disappoint. Golden, rich taste. Great on cornbread and biscuits.
