1, 2, 3, Off to School!

We checked this book out at the library, for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loved it so much, we had to buy it. She will sit and study each page, for so long, noticing all the details.

This book (along with Dubuc's "Your House, My House") absolutely captivated my 7 year old grandchildren. Even though the story is aimed, probably, at younger children, the illustrations are so complicated and interesting that we all spent yesterday evening combing through the illustrations. And each book has characters from well known stories (Goldilocks, The 3 little pigs) unexpectedly popping up. A real winner of a book for a broad age range (including grandparents).

My children love spending time looking at all the details in these books.
