This is a great daily devotional to learn many of the Bible stories and about many of the characters. Even if you are familiar with the Bible, you will probably learn more. I certainly did. The author makes some "hard to understand" Bible truths and stories easy to understand. He also makes applications that help a person to know if they are truly saved; how to be saved if they aren't currently; how to grow spiritually; and practical applications for daily living.

It can get a little bit tedious at times if you are pressed for time because the scripture references lead into deeper reading than 5 or 10 minutes will allow. It is very good at showing facets of characters sometimes not thought of, though.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this devotional each day. It expands my regular One Year Bible reading.I recommend it highly.

Use it all the time. Very good.Different approach then other devotion book.
