So.... I was curious when I ...
So.... I was curious when I pulled the pencil out of the bag. There were blacked out indentations in the wood of the pencil. I used a white sharpie to make it visible, then rubbed to remove the excess ink. Guess what? It's a Phano china marker which Amazon sells by the dozen for $6 as an add-on. Seriously, $14.99 for something that averages 50 cents. Buyer beware to everyone. I will take my licks and call it a loss. Zero stars if I could. This is NOT a reputable seller!!!!

DON'T BUY THIS
Not only did I pay for expedited shipping and still experience ced a delay in getting this item, it doesn't work!I have a minor scratch on my left lense and several minor scratches on my right. Directions say liberally apply product to both sides of the lense, wipe off, repeat as necessary.I followed the directions and on the left scratch nothing happened, the glasses themselves looked shinier but the scratch was still there unaffected. So I try the right scratch and gained SEVERAL NEW SCRATCHED. The pen scratched my lenses for me!This is a total hoax.

used these since I was a kid and bought them off the TV
nothing can truly remove a scratch from a lens or monitor without completely changing the refraction and optics. however if you are truly screwed and need something to make things tolerable or passable til you can replace the damaged item, these pens are absolute life savers. I am practically blind and need lenses that actually can restore my sight. any and I mean any damage shows violently and causes serious issues. however these pens can lessen the roughness in the gouge to the point where it isn't as horrible. it took years to actually figure out the exact point where the repetitions of application to a scratch in question to increase the problem as it wears away the functional area around the scratch. these things can make it far better or it can worsen it. it takes 4 to 7 applications to actually see results. however each pen lasts ages and if you have reasonable expectations its actually a miracle product. however never use it with anti-reflective lenses or transitions. remember the goal is to make it less noticeable, you cant make it look OEM fresh again.
