EGO POWER+ Battery 56V, 5.0Ah - BA2800T

I’m very impressed with the EGO POWER+ 56V 5.0Ah battery. It provides plenty of power for my EGO outdoor tools and gives me the runtime I need without constantly having to stop and recharge. The 280Wh capacity is a great balance between runtime and keeping the battery from getting excessively heavy. The built-in fuel gauge is one of my favorite features because I can quickly check how much charge is left before starting a job. The ARC Lithium technology and Keep Cool design also help manage heat during heavier use, which gives me confidence when using the battery for extended periods. I also like that the same battery works across the entire EGO 56V lineup, so I can move it between my different lawn tools without needing separate batteries for each one. It feels very well built and has a solid, durable construction. The biggest downside is definitely the price. EGO batteries aren't cheap, but the performance and compatibility make it worth the investment if you're already using EGO equipment. Overall, this is an excellent battery for EGO tools. Great power, good runtime, convenient fuel gauge, and solid build quality. Definitely recommend it!

The EGO POWER+ 5.0Ah battery has been working great so far. It provides plenty of power and runtime for my EGO tools, and it charges quickly without any issues. I also really like the battery power indicator lights, which make it easy to see how much charge is left at a glance. It fits all of my EGO tools and is lighter than some of the larger batteries, although it is still a little on the heavy side. The battery feels very solid and well constructed, which is important when using it with outdoor equipment. Having an extra battery on hand is really convenient, especially when using multiple tools or working on larger projects. For the performance, compatibility, and runtime, I think it’s worth the cost and would definitely recommend it.

Great battery. Love ego power products! Used for both my lawn mower (as a backup), leaf blower, weedeater, edger, etc. Just wait until they go onsale. Sadly, they do decay over time like all batteries… maybe after 3 years or so.

I ordered the EGO POWER+ Battery 56 it arrived promptly and was well package I needed a new battery after a few years of using mine. It decided not to hold a charge anymore We have the EGO lawnmower, weedeater, leaf blower, and this battery is compatible with each of them. These batteries are so easy to put on and off the equipment, they hold their charge, and I like the fact that there are indicator lights when the battery is getting low. We love the EGO brand and consider this to be a very good value for the money

It takes a little while to charge. I am used to the 4.0 Ah battery I use on my leaf blower. That charges in no time it seems. I have and power supply that I received as a gift and I outfitted it with this 5.0 battery. It has a 120 volt outlet and a few small sockets for cell phone and other electronic uses. Plus a built in light that is really handy in case of a power outage. Next power outage, I'll find out what this battery can do. For fun, I plugged it into a floor fan to dry a freshly wet mopped floor. It ran for ten minutes, and the power didn't even drop on the indicator light. I have a hunch this will be handy down the road. I'm glad I got the bigger battery.

I bought an EGo battery from Amazon because the price was lower than most local outlets. I have nothing but kudos for it to date. I use it as a backup when my primary battery runs low. My lawn mower now outlasts me. Can I get one for an 86 year old?

I just thought others may want to know the life of this battery. I have a 21" eGo mower and a 10Ah battery lasts 60 minutes (on blade speed 2 and with a moderate self propelled speed)...which is just not quite long enough to finish my lawn. So, I purchased this 5.0Ah battery to supplement my weekly lawn mowing. The battery last 25 minutes...which is a little less than 1/2 of the 10Ah battery. If you need an additional 25 minutes, this will do the job, but if you need 30 minutes, the battery won't make it.

Battery is used to operate several EGO tools, and last most of the day, only problem they are very expensive to replace. Once the batteries die I will be switching to another brand the people are saying work better and are not as expensive.

An early, weaker battery, for the EGO tools eventually failed, but the higher end battery has worked like a charm. I have two of these now, which I alternately charge, and they power the lawn mower, hedge clipper, blower, and wire trimmer, and I never run out of power. I don't use the electric chain saw (still have a 2-stroke gas-powered engine for this) but love the rest of the tool set that EGO offers. The drawback is the price -- paid close to $600 Canadian for the mower, but it is very nicely designed. Overall, worth the investment -- just hoping the company is around long enough for servicing and replacement -- there's a lot of competition now in this market from the longterm powerhouse tool companies.

Expensive but works

Shipping was very good, ahead of schedule The only gripe I have is the price. I could've purchased much cheaper from compatible makers but decided to stay with Ego because of quality doubts.. The price is about 2/3 the price I paid for the mower, battery & charger pkg. That's not logical nor reasonable. Unit came with 25% charge, took 20 min to charge, Appears to have brought my cutting time back to when the mower was new. The original 5 yr old battery was losing it's ability to hold a decent charge .

They carry good power for the first couple of seasons then the time they run starts to drop. This is the third season and needed to buy another battery to get lasting power to get the job done.

I'm using the EGO system for all outdoor use around the house, lawnmower, trimmers, and snowblower. They all work perfectly and Im now able to recharge them from my solar array, reducing costs further. The seller was very helpful in his handling and refund of the duty fees I incurred.
