Good Book, but it is in black and white. Some figures, at least the main subject should be in colors.

I'm very impressed with the Woodworking plans and projects within this book, easy to follow gives me step by step instructions, 20 ideas on how to do these woodworking jobs. looking forward starting these projects.

This book gave me some ideas to try and helped me develop my appalling DIY woodwork skills. It was simply laid out and helped for sure

Not going to lie I'm a proper beginning at woodwork and this has been one to the best books I've found proper in-depth methods and materials list and decent pictures so you know what it should look like at every stage of the build.

Not enough information

Very disappointing. Instructions are like "size the parts, sand down the pieces, attach the pieces together, stain the pieces". No real explanation of techniques. Machinery requirements include ban (?) saw, jointer, thicknesser, radial arm saw and belt sander. How many amateurs are likely to have all of that? Total waste of money, for me at least. Better to look on the internet for free ideas and maybe download a few paid for plans. But lesson learned!

Got this book for my husband, and he's anxiously awaiting warmer weather so he can get working on these projects.

It should show the basic tools for a DIY carpenter... and more if one is a rookie. Shiuld show tools or accesories for wood assambly like metallic cornes or metallic joint accesories and littlw squares for joining the wood. Should give tje basic porcess of coat and type of coats, like water based and its finishes as glow, satin and mate.
