Very good and fast rolling tire, with a ton of grip; great as a front tire.
I replaced a set of Bontrager Team Issue XR2 tires, with this on the front of my Trek Procaliber 9.9 SL Project One, and a Vittoria Mezcal on the rear. Both tires are in 2.35" X 29" size.The Vittoria combination rolls as fast or even faster than the Bontrager setup, and has definitely got more grip at both ends, especially on the front.I ride loose and very loose over hardpack, and gravelly/rocky terrain on my local Northern California trails, and these work great.Highly recommended so far.
