Hykolity Tower fan - Brown

I don't usually do this, but I rage-ordered this fan - four of them, actually. I was sitting on our patio in the sweltering Arizona heat, losing quarts of blood to Cadillac-sized mosquitos. DH mentioned that ceiling fans might help. In a fit of desperation (or possibly Malaria-induced delerium) I found this fan and hit 'Buy it Now.'The next day, it occured to me that I might want to check the reviews... Oh no. Broken globes? Not even outdoor rated? What have I done?? Too late to cancel. Nothing to do but wait and hope the return policy is good.When they arrived, the first thing I did was check the glass. Either they've improved their shipping materials or I'm extremely lucky. Four ceiling fans with four glass globes, and all of them intact. Alright, but can I use them on my patio? Box says... Indoor / damp rated. Wait, what?A bit of Googling later, I found that there are three different ratings for ceiling fans:a) Dry - Indoor only. Period.b) Damp - Suitable for outdoor covered spaces, like patios! Oh Yay!!c) Wet - I guess you could hang that in your swimming pool, if the mood strikes.Installation wasn't terribly hard, but I guess that's easy for me to say. DH did most of the work. I just handed him parts and screws and tools. Still, the cursing was mostly PG and I didn't have to go fetch any tools out of the neighbor's yard, so there's that.Now I'm sitting on my patio enjoying a lovely breeze. The fans are pretty, they're quiet and they don't wobble. The mosquitos seem to have backed off too, which is a good thing because ammo's getting expensive. 5/5 stars!

We ordered three (3) of these ceiling fans to place on our back porch. All three came in perfect condition. My husband had more trouble getting the old fans down than he did installing the new fans. They are working perfectly so far.Revision: Approximately two (2) months after installation, the glass in one of the fan globes cracked for no apparent reason. One month later, I noticed another globe had a crack in it. My assumption is that all three will eventually get cracks. Although I still like the looks of the fans, they should not be used on a porch where the temperature can not be kept consistent.

The glass globe was cracked when we opened the package. We contacted the seller and it is a discontinued item so a replacement is not available. It is a well designed and constructed fan and light kit that was easy enough to assemble, but the instructions are a touch confusing. The fan and light kit operate smoothly and properly.

I love the look of the fan and I purchased two of them for the patio. My biggest complaint is they were a pain to put up. And after finally getting them installed just in time for Mother's day, I realize there is a crack in one of the glass covers. It took multiple tries over the better part of 2 1/2 days to complete the installation.

I ordered 8 fans. I received them with no breakage or missing parts. They installed easily. They are quiet, do the job and look very nice on my porch. The fan blades have two colors on each side. I used the gray.

A professional installed them so I don’t if was easy it take time for sure they look very nice in our patio . One of the glass came cracked but the manufacturer already sent the replacement . In general we are happy with them

The fan doesn’t blow hard, even at its highest speeds. And know that I have installed them I can return it.

Broke the glass accidentally upon installation and got a quick replacement sent to us from the help number. Looks and works great. 🤘
