Hi

Texas have long produced some excellent rock/soul songs. They went a bit stale in about 2008, and then went on a hiatus for a while. Their 2017 album Jump on Board was an excellent return to form, and Sharleen Spiteri's voice and songwriting from Johnny McElhone never sounded better. Now they come up with Hi, which is on a par, if not better than Jump on Board. Very creative melodies, and extremely listenable. I have played it quite a few times now, and it really makes you feel good. If there was one minor quibble, I tend to dislike their collaborations with the Wu-Tang Clan. It is a strange combination. But I can quite happily miss the track out of my playlist, and still give the album five stars.

The CD is good apart from the second track which I will be removing from my iPhone.
