VanishOxi Action In-Wash Powder Fabric Stain Remover, 1.35 kg. (Pack of 2)

I tried this product because it was highly recommended by a YouTuber. She made the claim that it worked way better than OxiClean, and to be honest....it really does work better! With Vanish, I only have to do an overnight soak (my preference) or just a few hours, depending on the type and severity of stain and then wash as usual. Once the wash cycle is done, my stains are gone. Not so with oxi. Most times I have to soak my items twice, and then have to STILL rub/spray a stain remover on the stain for it to finally come out. Vanish is way more expensive than Oxi and I'm not sure what Vanish has in it that Oxi doesn't, but I'll never go back to using it unless I'm in a tight pinch. At one point my local Walmart use to sell it, but I haven't seen it in the store in about a year. So for now, Amazon it is.

I recently moved to the US from New Zealand. I had used Vanish (Napisan) my whole life... in fact my mother used it in 1980s! Although the brand has evolved and improved over time it has always worked at getting out stains. Whether you chuck a scoop in the washing machine, soak items overnight or make a paste with a small amount of water, the results are always awesome. I was upset when I arrived in the US to find they did not stock this item (or anything even remotely as good). After trying a few other products without success, I found this Vanish on Amazon. It was delivered quickly, which was great because I had a pile of stained clothes and a pair of shoes awaiting treatment!

I think this is the best stain remover ever! It is literally effortless. It does not fade or bleach color clothes either. All you have to do is put a little scoop in a little plastic tub/wash tub, fill it will warm/cold water (I usually fill it with warm) and let your clothes sit it in for 1-3 hours. If it's bad, I leave it overnight. And then wash it as normal. Stains vanish! :) So happy my mom showed it to me. I know, a lot of people might think it is a little pricey, but you get 2 huge containers and it lasts a long time. And for the excellent job it does, it is very well worth it!

This is the best stain remover I have ever used. It gets out everything... from rust and blood, to mustard and grease. I can not recommend it highly enough. My son came home from school one day, his white shirt covered in that pervasive orange dirt that is impossible to clean out of your clothing. Well, this stuff not only removed the stains, it whitened and brightened the shirt entirely, making it look brand new again. I’m no laundry whiz, so I was ecstatic to find such a terrific product. It’s great, especially if you have kids that love to play outside and get dirty.

Came in two large containers one was partially open and soms contents had spilled during shipping- not a big deal. Stuff smells terrible. I’ve used it about 20 times trying to get it to work but it just doesn’t. In addition to not getting out stains it also leaves a rough film on my clothes even when I use extra rinse cycles to try get it off. I finally gave up and went back to oxi clean which is too bad because I heard so many good things about this product.

Worked decent on my laundry. Not great but not awful.
