I love it, it is so much easier then my marble rolling pin.

This thing is absolutely perfect! Lightweight, easy to clean, nice and smooth. Flawless. I read the reviews and the issue of the glue is not an issue at all. Yes, there's a small amount of glue on the rolling pin. Here's a tip for removing even stubborn glue, which this isn't. Remove the label and spray the area with glue with Dawn Power Spray and let sit for a few minutes. Take your scrub brush and a little hot water and it comes off easily. On truly hard to remove glue, you might need to repeat, but again, the glue on this is not hard to remove!

The rolling pin itself will do quite nicely and looks great after the initial clean but that is the problem as others have pointed out in past reviews. The label is attached around the center with what could have been that gummy type adhesive but instead is a really sticky grainy glue substance. I was able to get it totally clean after about 15 minutes with a combination of Dawn dish liquid and a light sliding touch up and down with steel wool or similar metal grill cleaner. Hope that helps. I've been watching a certain British baking show, and saw a lot of rolling pins similar to this, so different than the heavy rolling pins with handles I grew up using. When setting up my first apartment, I bought a big old marble one. I didn't love it but never thought about replacing it until seeing French rolling pins in action.This much simpler tool is such a joy to use: very lightweight, maneuverable, and I am able to roll my doughs out more uniformly and thinner then ever before. I am beyond pleased with this purchase for the price...I only wish I'd figured this out 30 years ago, but you live and learn :-)
