Finally, a teapot without plastic!!
I have searched and searched for a teapot without any plastic inside. A couple that I bought said that they had no plastic inside but ended up having a silicone seal or some sort of temperature gauge on the inside. If you're in the same boat, rest assured that this one actually has no plastic inside!! There's no plastic in the spout or anywhere that I can see. Here is a photo. The handle and the bottom is plastic and there is a plastic top on the outside of the teapot. That part does not touch the water.Hope this is helpful!

Expensive kettle of poor quality, destroyed after first use
I boiled water in a kettle only once! And then he did not work anymore ...I contacted customer service a week ago and they have not yet responded.I'm very disappointed because I was willing to pay a high price for a good brand, and I got a kettle that was worth nothing :(

The Kettle of My Dreams
I absolutely LOVE this electric kettle. Five years ago, I bought a home in the country and wanted everything to be just right. One small disappointment was not being able to find an electric kettle that met my visual requirements. Got an inexpensive one, knowing it would eventually be replaced. This kettle should have a crown of stars. This is what I like, in no particular order: It looks FABULOUS in my kitchen; seriously, this kettle is a flat out design feature. It has the quietest little shut off tick, I’ll have to listen for it. Haven’t timed it yet, but no complaints there. The handle is wonderful, the little protrusion on the top inside is perfect to enable a firm hold while pouring at an angle. The ability to wind up the cord is wonderful. The NON-SLIP base is great (as it should be; why don’t more of them have this?). AND the plug is easy to pull out; whereas some of my other counter-top appliances are almost impossible to disconnect. The narrow spout is divine - still in the beginning of the boil two pots of water to get started phase, but the slow pour allowed me to effectively clean the sides of my sink. I also like the fact that I can deflect the steam away from my window sill flowers! This kettle is the absolute best!OK, after using it for two days, these are my additional comments: I have a hard time seeing the minimum fill line inside the kettle, especially with water droplets inside. Also, you must have the water level at least to the minimum fill line. My prior kettle had no minimum amount, so if I needed a boiling couple of tablespoons it was easy. Not with this one. I also find that I prefer an attached snap-up top.

Finally a kettle that ticks all the boxes
I love this kettle!Pros:Beautiful designEasy to use: just fill, place on heating stand, push leverHeats fastNo plastic inside the kettleNo smell at all, not even when heating...Yeah!Automatically shuts off when water is ready to useEasy finger grip on the handleQuick release from heating element, even before it reaches boiling point, if you want to.Push down lever to start, and push up to stop at any point during the heating process.Easy to clean:Once cool just dry inside and out with a towel, to avoid calcium build up.If you do see some build up of calcium inside the kettle which may look like brown spots or white spots,, scrub with a scouring pad and water, then dry with towel. Spots have always scrubbed off, for me. Take care of your kettle, and it will take care of you.Cons: NoneI've read reviews on other kettles which complain about not having a temperature control. Your heating water for coffee or tea; why do you need a temperature control? I used to put a sauce pan on the stove to heat my water, and if I did not watch it, it boiled away. Now my kettle takes care of that issue and automatically shuts off. This kettle ticks all the boxes for me. Love, love, love it!

Love, love, love this kettle
I had a Chantal electric kettle for years and I finally needed a replacement. I was looking for a gooseneck and saw this one and decided to try it. I followed the instructions for rinsing it out first and then used it at an event where everyone made their own tea. It was perfect. Boils quickly, looks very sleek and shiny. I took one point off for cleaning because in order to get it dry inside completely you have to use a dish towel to swirl around the bottom. Minor inconvenience for a really nice looking kettle and works perfectly. I really like the type that has a cover that you remove to add water. I always find the ones that open partially with a button to be a pain. This one has a removeable cover. I also like that you can wind up the cord under the heating element so you can make it shorter or longer depending on your outlet placement. Very pleased with this kettle.

Great size for a gooseneck kettle
This was the largest volume goose-neck kettle I could find. I needed it to be reasonably big as was replacing a much bigger electric kettle, and I don't keep an array of different sized kettles on my countertop!Otherwise, this is just a normal electric kettle with a semi-goose-neck.Pros - gives me good control with my pour over coffee; largest goose-neck I could find; looks nice; stays clean and shiny (I have soft water); not too exaggerated a goose-neck so can use for heating water generally.Cons - you can't set temperature (but I did not want that as i think it's a stupid gimmick); cannot keep water heated, you just have to press to reboil; lid is very stiff to put on and take off (but you get used to it and it does soften a tiny bit)

Charming and convenient
The kettle is a perfect size for a couple of large mugs of coffee or tea. It heats quickly with little noise. Compact size fits quite nicely on my coffee prep tray. My old whistling stovetop kettle was cute but it meant carrying it across the kitchen while trying not to trip over the cat. This kettle means everything can be in close proximity and is so convenient. Really glad I purchased it despite the a little bit pricey cost. Love it!
