Disappointed!
I'm a hosteller, I needed lock having five keys to share among us. But only three keys are working and rest two are not. Now it feels like no use of ordering this expensive lock.

Good locks, easy on price
We had a wedding in the family and we moved to the venue. The venue recommended we get our own locks to secure our belongings. We have 15 rooms to secure. These locks were sturdy and worked well for us. Delivered in time.

An interesting, though very insecure, lock
Lever locks like this one may look like antiques to North Americans, but they remain in common use in much of the world. A good lever lock is strong and difficult to pick. This, however, is not a particularly good lever lock. Despite the claim of having a hardened steel shackle, I was easily able to cut a notch into the shackle with a hacksaw using very light pressure. You could probably hacksaw through this with very little effort in 15 seconds or less. Looking into the key slot you can see that the outer case is made of very thin sheet steel. On the back you can see where the serial number was stamped into the case, indenting the metal. It’s an 8-lever lock, but based on other identical-appearing locks I suspect not all the levers are fully functional. Most of these really cheap lever locks come from India, and the printing on the box (under the very optimistic $99.00 price) indicate that’s where this one comes from. You can find identical locks under a variety of names. A few of these locks don’t even have different keying- all the locks have the same serial number and keying. I can’t say if that’s the case here, as I only have one sample. Obviously this is not a lock you'd use to secure anything valuable, but I could actually see using it as a low-security lock where you wanted to limit access, but weren’t concerned about theft. The real value of this lock, though, miss as a curiosity, which is why I gave it three stars rather than one or two. For the lock collector or lock hobbyist, it’s a relatively inexpensive lever lock you can display or use to learn how these locks work.
