Works great on my dogs. Used it three times now in the span of two months and have noticed a huge difference with the amount of dog hair around the house and in the shower. I used to clear the drain multiple times during a wash but now it’s just about once or twice.No scent which is great.Only complaint is that it doesn’t lather up as much as some other doggy shampoos so I end up using more to cover the whole body. But I’m still giving it a 5 star BC it works when it says “shed control”.

We adore this shampoo! Helps shed our fawn pug’s coat in the bath rather than the furniture. There’s been a HUGE reduction in hair we’ve found in the house since using this shampoo. We use it about once a month to keep his hair at bay. It also helps his itchy skin and dandruff, he used to shake his skin ALL over our black car interior but now that has resolved too. Hope they never stop carrying this shampoo, as we’ll be loyal customers.

I could immediately see a difference in our Shepherd mix's hair, which is medium length and wavy. We like Burt's Bees and the variety of their shampoos, however, they lather terribly and since she's a larger dog we end up using 1/4 of the bottle for one wash.A really great alternative is Richard Organics, which has AMAZING lather and smells great. But we keep coming back to Burt's Bees solely for the variety of smells.

It did in fact leave my 6 year old cocker spaniel clean and soft. However, at 20 lbs and quite fluffy for winter… it took three scrubbings and half of what was left in the bottle (maybe a third of the container) to lather her up all over. Someone put a sticker seal around the screw part of the lid and the mash button on top was not protected. So it arrived open and a wet soggy mess in a box. It’s a very watery product. The pH balancing effect reminded me of using the hunters scent control body wash or the unscented hello bello kids hair and body wash.I previously used Oster’s shed control from Wally World. It smelled nice and worked beautifully. Sadly this is the cheapest replacement I have found. I don’t like the chi products that you can find discounted at tj to the max because they have such a strong fragrance that lingers everywhere.

I have a husky, and she sheds a LOT. Her undercoat is very thick, I brush her out and then wash her. There was a huge difference in her shedding and there was barely any hair for 2-3 ish weeks before she started shedding bad again.

Very few chemicals, helps with dog shedding

This shampoo came in a bag when shipped, which is great, but it still managed to open (there was no seal on the bottle like most liquid products have - I'm now thinking that may be because they're watering down the product) and spill all over the bag.The product itself is as thin as water, barely lathers, and smells of nothing. It's golden in color and lathers a bit, so obviously there's SOMETHING in there besides water, but it's so watered down that it took half the bottle to get even a decent lather on my dog.I'm also now left with a freshly washed dog that doesn't smell clean, but instead just smells like I left her outside while it rained.I'm super disappointed and won't be buying this again. Normally I don't have problems with branded items when the seller is actually "Amazon services LLC" but in this case it seems they're not as reliable as I originally thought.Pretty irritated about this whole experience tbh.

I ordered this cause my dog Was shedding like crazy, after a couple of baths the shedding has went away!! This shampoo also has. Light scent and leaves the coat silky and also is very good on her skin! BURTS BEES IS THE BEST HAND DOWN!!

To be honest I purchased this shampoo and a dog brush at the same time. One or a combination of the two have been working like a charm. I have a short haired Chihuahua

Good for shedding dogNot a strong scent

I used 1/3 of the bottle to wash the dog as there was no lathering of shampoo. Have been using BB for 3 1/2 years. Really disappointed and waste of money as it’s triple the price of regular BB shampoo.

We really liked the idea of purchasing a dog shampoo that is free from irritants and toxins for our dog. She enjoyed being bathed with this gentle cleaning and no fragranced shampoo. It left her coat shiny, soft, and healthy looking. We liked that it is controlling her shedding and it's enriched with omega 3's and vitamin E. Hurray for Burt's Bees for making a really great shampoo respecting the needs of our animals and enviroment! Would defintely recommend.
