I wanted to relive my childhood, so I bought this CD to play on my Windows 10 laptop. I don't have a CD drive on my laptop so I bought an external one.Installation was tricky; at first it wouldn't let me install the game, then it finally did somehow. It was trying to install a very-outdated ActiveX on my computer. I think I refused to download it?? I don't know. I honestly couldn't tell you why it finally worked. If this happens to you, I'm sorry, I don't really have an explanation but maybe try the installation process a couple more times?Anyways, if I played the game straight through without stopping, it would have taken a few hours to beat the game. Because, you know, 90's computer games. However, it took a lot longer to play because the game crashed a LOT. Which I suppose I expected, given that the game is decades old, but I've also played 3rd Grade Adventurers Mystery of Mathra (another childhood game) and that one worked fine with NO crashes... Meanwhile, with CSWD it was like every 30 minutes.Changing my computer graphics to the lowest available option helped, but it didn't stop the crashing, or the freezing, or the pixelated screen.So if you buy this game for yourself or your child & have a computer that isn't from the 90's, 1) make sure you lower your graphics on your computer, and 2) be prepared to face some difficulties.

Installation stops working on windows 7 due to issue installing Quicktime 2.1 for Windows 32 bit. Have quicktime 7 and higher installed, but doesn't seem to work with the game. Tried clearing registry etc. Issue didn't correct. tried to manually download required quicktime and it also failed. The next step was that I downloaded Quicktime 4, but found that this time in installation I skipped the search for other versions of quicktime and just installed the one provided on the disk. That seemed to do the trick. So if you're having issues, try pressing "skip" when the quicktime option comes up and accept just install the version on the disk.

Complete junk, it kept crashing my computer. I expected this to be a good product, don't waste your money!!!
