I've replaced many items on iPhones over the years (Home buttons / Screens / Camera Lens etc.). So I'm pretty proficient at taking the iPhone apart, and I had no problems removing the old battery and installing the new one. Very simple repair.Come to turn on the iPhone; it boots up fine the first time, all looking good. But the home button is not working. Pretty strange because I didn't remove anything related to the home button. After a quick bit of research and reading, the iPhone may need to complete a boot cycle before the home button works again. So let the phone battery run down so I could do a full charge.I plugged the iPhone after the battery fully drained, and it's now stuck in a boot loop with a weird white line appearing across the screen now and again. My guess now, without doing more research, is a dead phone.

I put off dealing with the problems of a failing battery in my iPhone 7 for as long as I could but when it wouldn’t hold enough power to last more than an hour or 2 it was time.This replacement including the tools seemed impossibly cheap, but a month on… very pleased. The fitting is a painstaking slow job, but take it steady and keep the hairdryer around to soften the glue at regular intervals and it can be done! Watch the various YouTube videos on the subject several times first to give yourself a good idea of what you are letting yourself in for as it’s not for the faint hearted.I’d buy another (which is as good an endorsement as I can think of).

In no way were the tools included in this kit fit for purpose, I tried to use them but gave it up for a bad job.Also advertised as free returns .... Well it cost my 3 pond to send it back that's not my understanding of free

Bought 3 of the guys now, no faults, all have worked well. Comes with a little toolkit, adhesive strips each work well enough for the little job

Well packaged item containing all the tools you need for a quick, hassle free installation. Took me around 25 minutes. Battery is higher capacity than the original too!

Tools are not really that great. it took me long time to replace the battery. But my home button is not working although i have not removed anything related to home button.

Plug the lead in. Charging Symbol come on. Battery didn’t charge
