This deck is extremely well produced in every way. The cards are oversized and beautifully guilded with fantastic cardstock and coloring. The box and book are extremely well made and st a fantastic price. I've paid 70, 80 , 200 dollars for decks that weren't as well produced as this one. I wish mass produced deck makers would take note

I own several iterations of Ed Buryn's 'William Blake Tarot of The Creative Imagination' & this is simply the best! The color saturation is just right, the text is sharp and clear... the chosen images are so lovely & the 'shushing' sound of the shuffle is kinesthetically satisfying. The backs of the cards are reversable, tasteful & easy on the eyes. The card size is ever so slightly larger than your standard RWS tarot card.My readings have been as deep as an oracle deck while utilizing the structure of the tarot. So far... this lovely deck has been used only for myself & I would use it with clients who are in the midst of a creative project or pondering their next mission. If you are an intuitive reader or a reader steeped in esoterica... this deck will be a source of inspiration & delight.

You still have your basic Tarot cards and suits, but with different names. What attracted me is the artistic angle.. for example, the Angel of Painting, Ace of Music, and 2 of Poetry.. The cards are 3.5" x 5", and they are thick and sturdy. I love the gilded edges! The only downside is that, because the cards are so thick, they are not very well adapted to riffle shuffling. .. I like how each suit has its own border.. stars for Science, grapevine for Poetry... The box is really nice — it closes magnetically, and has a ribbon inside for easy removal of the deck. There is a 96-page booklet with brief descriptions and a few sample spreads. (Note: you can use any tarot card spread, or make up your own.)

The suits are a bit unorthodox (Painting, Science, Music, and Poetry). Likewise for the naming of the Major Arcana (Innocence for The Fool for example). Still, the artwork is beautiful, and the commentary quite interesting. A must for any William Blake fan.

I like the idea and the suits but there are printing errors noticeable in the fonts and there is a strange drawing that looks like the person is performing some type of favor. I laught when I saw it but couldn’t get it out of my head. Sorry.

Just got these today, so excited. Very beautiful, and can't wait to work with this system. It seems very interesting.

The gold; the pictures, everything. I love this deck, and the booklet that comes with it. Exceptional medium for messages.

The deck itself is great, though be warned that the gilding and method of production may make some cards stick to each other. It is also difficult to shuffle. The publisher, Red Feather, will not respond to my requests to replace the cards damaged when some of mine stuck together. The deck is otherwise one of my favourites and I recommend it to all Blake fans, especially if you want to use a deck for creative work (which is what this deck was designed for).

Outstanding quality, the VERY FINEST tarot deck that I have ever handled and LOVE!!! My husband handled the cards and he “appropriated” them, he loves them too and they grace his bedside table. These cards are lovingly reproduced and the images are clear, vibrant, and exquisitely beautiful. If you love William Blake’s incomparable works of art, then these cards will become a dear treasure of yours as they are to us.

So... I confess, I developed an online relationship back in the late 90's. The deck, the art, and poetic references to William Blake - absolutely BRILLIANT!I can not even describe my excitement, when the deck was reprinted/republished (It had been out of print for years). And ... YO... the quality of this set, my Goddess!

First tarot deck, the cards are so beautiful, enjoy the quality and gold edge. Love the box and little booklet. Each spread I pull really tells a story. Helping to exercise my imaginative mind. Was vaguely familiar with Blake but now enjoying learning more. Can understand now why I was drawn to this deck. Thank you Ed for your thoughtfulness it it’s creation!
