JAN & JULWide Brim Sun Hats for Boys with Neck Flap

We really like this hat, you can tell it is high quality. The wide brim protects sun from going into the eyes most of the time and the back covering is great for neck protection. It seems quite breathable fabric. The adjustments are great too for a longer life than other hats and chin strap prevents easy throwing away of the hat by smaller children. I like the simplistic, unisex design. It simply everything we wanted for a hat, we will definitely be buying again in future when it is time for the next size up.

Great little hat, lightweight material but soft and also covers the neck so can use that for sun protection. Worth the money and the little tie at the back is great in case its loose.

Really love the all round coverage from the peak that is all round the head. The peak at the front is reinforced so provides shade over the face without covering their eyes.Fully adjustable with quick release chin snap for safety. I have the cotton one for my toddler which I loved and bought this water one for my son, the water hat seems to be slightly more versatile than the cotton one in the same style though can't be certain on breathability as it's not my head they are on.Get a lot of compliments on how great these hats are, come up a bit more expensive than supermarket but have not found one with the all round extra coverage so worth it in my opinion.They fold flat for travelling and I've run them through the washing machine on a cold short cycle to freshen them up.

This hat provides fantastic coverage - the cape bit is awesome for ensuring that no slivers of neck are accidentally exposed. It's protective, dries quickly if (or when!) it gets wet, and has a great break-awak clasp on the chin strap that would cause it to open if your child caught it on anything, so no accidental choking. My favourite feature: my son actually wears it unlike most hats!My 2 year old is wearing the 4-5YO size as he does measure above average for his head size, but with the adjustability of the hat, it's better to order large anyway and get more use out of it.

I almost never write reviews but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this, it’s the best sun hat I’ve seen for small kids. Being a kiwi I’m hyper aware of making sure my toddler is safe in the sun - even living in the UK!The hat has a lovely wide brim that shades his face, and the back protects his neck. It’s also very lightweight so he’s not too bothered about wearing it now. The neck strap is nice and generous - he’s got a lovely chubby double chin and I’ve found some neck straps too short in the past.

Had to leave a review for this hat after our toddler has been wearing it from around 6 months old until 2 years at this point- it is the ONLY hat that will stay on, it provides excellent coverage, dries quickly and looks adorable as well. We’ve tried many (!) hats with a very active toddler who hates anything on his head and this is the only solution. Highly recommend!

This has been a great hat for my little one. I was concerned that it would be too small for him - I bought the 0-6 months size when he was 5 months old, and he's a fairly large baby - but it actually fit him great, and still fits him well now he's 7 months old. It has good sun coverage, has a nice colourful pattern, and is adjustable so it fits different head sizes. I definitely recommend it and plan to buy it again in a larger size next summer!

The material of this hat is just what I was looking for- similar to a pair of running shorts. Very breathable fabric and light weight. It has an adjustable breakaway chin strap. It is also adjustable around the crown of the head so that it stays on- this was something I was looking for since my babies head is on the smaller side and most hats would not be small enough for him (LO head circumference 15 in). The front brim is also structured to just behind the ears so it holds shape and was great for keeping sun out of his eyes. The back brim was unstructured and helped cover his entire neck and some of his shoulders. Overall very happy, with the quality and fit.

This sun hat fit my 4 year old grandson perfectly and was delivered quickly. It appears exactly as described and as pictured in the ad. He hasn't worn it in the sun yet but will be doing so in a couple of weeks in Mexico. Nonetheless, it's apparent from seeing it on him, that it will provide great sun coverage and look cute while doing so :)

Love everything about this hat!The adjustable strap has a safety breakaway feature, plus the circumference is adjustable also which is fabulous! The hat will grow with my baby, I'm so happy with this purchase!Covers the sun perfectly out of baby's face/neck and is super comfortable and should last for a long time considering it will grow with my baby.Honestly the perfect hat, can't go wrong here!
