As Sekiria

As Sekiria contains the vocal tracks from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 plus remixes of the opening and closing themes. If you are looking for the score, look for the soundtracks to the series, this is all "Priss" singing. That made it a must have since I fell in love with the hard driving Y'Know the first time I heard it watching the series. Frankly, having the main theme and Waiting for You would have caused me to give the album five stars.Fortunately, the rest of the tracks are good to very good, with the exception of the remixes, which simply aren't to my taste being a little too techno. A particular standout is Idea, a song that shows off Akira Sodou's voice to its full extent while somehow catching the spirit of the series and its 1980s influences perfectly.I'll put it simply, this is good music and I feel fortunate to have snared a used copy at a very reasonable price here on Amazon.

Since then I've kept my eyes open for a soundtrack that had all of the vocal tracks so when I saw the track listings for this CD I had to have it and it didn't disappoint. All tracks are sung by Akira Sudou who has a beautiful voice, my favorite tracks being Ame, Blue Confusion, Waiting for You, Idea, and Bukkirabouna Na Ai Ni Oboretai. Tracks 1 and 11 are both remixes and are not bad but I personally still like the originals better. This CD is an absolute must have if you are a fan of the show.

If you've watched the series (Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040) this is an essential CD you must have in your collection.As per the title, it contains all the vocal tracks sung by Priss Asagiri in the series.After watching all the episodes of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 (in original Japanese Dub), you'll find yourself humming the opening/ending theme and additional songs in the series. This CD contains those songs.Waiting for YOU is the best track on the CD. Especially the track 1 remix.

Tokyo2040版のOP・EDは大好きだったんだけど、買えなかったのか買わなかったのか時間の流れで無くしたのか手元になくて、このアルバム版を買ったんですが、OP・EDのリミックスで水増ししては有るものの、単体のアルバムとしても作品世界での歌としても大変よくできてるなあ、とアルバムを選んだことを幸運に思っております。まあ、8cmCDを2枚気張って探すのは大変だし場合によってはとんでもないプレミア価格だったりしますしね。使用された作品世界を反映して少々SF風味ですけど、須藤あきらというロックシンガーも十分に味わえるお得なアルバムではないでしょうか。90年代に染まり切ってる風でもないし、聞く価値ありのアルバムですよ。大好きです。
