Great place to order from; bulbs too bright
I bought these bulbs for a statement piece without a shade. The wattage recommended for the light fixture was higher. In my personal opinion, even the 25 watt bulb is too bright to be able to look at a fixture without a shade. I love the look, and these bulbs all arrived undamaged and functional, from what I have checked. I wish previous reviews had been more specific on exactly how bright these are to look at. Going to include a realistic photo to help you all out. Amazon app did not allow me to post a picture; hoping it now shows up.

They break easily in shipment. But I still like them
Amazon ships these bulbs with super fragile bird cage filaments in the lightweight manufacturer’s cardboard box. Expect to replace. With four broken, on my second order, Amazon did not want a return, so you might get more than five or six for price of six. They NEED to fix this. I called. Second shipment came the same way with fragile stickers all over it and five out of six survived. Five for the price of six. These bulbs make a great nightlight for an entrance or entire room when in a lamp with a shade. By not turning them on and off, a bulb will last from a year to 18 months. Very nice, warm light and low wattage.

... in edison style wrought iron table lamp that looks like a table fan
I bought these for installation in edison style wrought iron table lamp that looks like a table fan. These bulbs fit perfectly and gave the fan/light the warm glow that I was looking for. I used a dimmer to step down the wattage a bit more. These bulbs are well built and the right length. If you are looking for real illumination of a room or picture I would not use these, as they are not bright enough for that. If you want a nostalgic red glow for your fixture then these are the ones for you. You can look at directly at these without hurting your eyes. Using 5 of these in the lamp does not produce too much heat.

Nice light bulbs
They are really cool looking and hey, they're a light bulb so what can you say? The only down side (?) And maybe this is just my house, is they're very sensitive to any power fluctuation. They've 'dimmed' a few times then came back up. Old incandescents don't seem to do that. I'd still buy these. Beware, at this time, they are VERY expensive at home Depot.

Halloween lights
Used for Halloween decorations. I ordered light sockets and bought 250' of lamp cord. I hung the pendants off tree limbs and wired them to a FS-2 fluorescent starter. Check out a video on YouTube on how to make "flicker bulbs" using these incandescent bulbs and a starter. It creates a scary flicker random effect.I never turned the light on when it was raining. I ordered 25 watt bulbs, they may burst if they are hot and get wet.

Nice decorative bulbs. You should understand they're not high-lumen output...
Provides a nice warm 'glow' with low light output for 'decorative' lighting purposes. Bought these thinking they were LED (they're not) but that was my mistake - the listing is clear they're old-school incandescent. I was looking for relatively 'dim' bulbs for primarily decorative purposes, and these are perfect for that.

Broken on arrival...twice
They are great and love the look except first box arrived with half broken. They sent me knew box free of charge but unfortunately that box arrived half broken as well and one was not broken in appearance but still does not work when plugged in. These are too fragile to be mailed I believe.

Super cute
A little more Amber than I thought, but it works great for our rustic decor. They are "hot" you can feel the heat coming off of them, but its not burn you hot.
