This is such an amazing book because it not only tells the story of Jay mentoring Vin from poverty to becoming a millionaire, it gives practical steps to doing so. There is so much on mindset, real-world examples, and actions to take daily.In my opinion, we are in a very dark time where wealthy people are looked at as bad because there is so much poverty. Politicians wage verbal wars on the wealthy to obtain votes of lower income earners. It makes me insane. This book destroys the political rhetoric and inspires through a real life example of a young man named Vin who came to America with nothing, grew up poor, and through a mentor, worked hard, persisted, and turned himself into a millionaire.Future Proofing you really gives me hope for the world. The last chapter, Pay It Forward, brings it home. When we become successful, teach others how to do the same. We have heard and seen this from Tony Robbins Robert Kiyosaki. It is the right message. It is hope for the world. We can make great innovations, be sustainable, and socially responsible all at the same time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I’ve never read a book so fast. I come from a very average middle America family. My dad drives truck and my mom works retail. Since I was young I have always wanted more than a 9-5. I’m 30 years old and I’m starting to feel like I’m running out of time. This book almost felt like my last hope when I heard about it and ordered it. I wasn’t disappointed, but I definitely feel like the easy part is over after reading this book.

I've read one of Jay's other book, Disrupt You!, and really enjoyed both his style and outlook. In Future Proofing You, Jay put's his words into play with a young man I had previously met, who had much ambition but difficulty fitting in. Jay shows how that kind of ambition can be molded and turned into an enterprise creation capable of not just surviving but thriving. Jay's advice is both timely and useful to the rest of us looking to make our own mark in the world.

This book has been so helpful with starting my new business. All businesses comes with its challenges, setbacks and you name it. While reading this book, it has given me the mental stamina to face those challenges by providing not only mindset and strategies, but also resources. I’d recommend this book to anyone! Many books talk in high level thinking that is hard to implement. Jay has done a great job of breakdown his concepts so they can be systematically worked on and implemented.
