Velleman K8055N Usb Experiment Interface Board (New Vers.)

As with all Velleman products, this with few exceptions a well thought out kit. Has a few more components and instructions than a beginner might want to tackle, but for anyone who has built and soldered a few simpler kits, this one is the next logical step up. Worked exactly as it should, NO ambiguities for anyone who reads and follows instructions well (how the outputs work might trip up a beginner, but otherwise everything makes perfiect sense). My only concern is that the PC board is plain copper traces that are unplated.. so care must be taken when soldering components that the solder is properly adhering to the copper and component leads. Other than that, a pleasure to build..

I purchased the K8055N to use as a controller in my astronomical observatory using custom interface software. The quality of the kit and instructions are excellent. Assembly took about 4 hours and the finished product checked out perfectly using software downloaded from the Velleman website. The most important thing, for me, is that the interface software (k8055d.dll) furnished by the vendor works flawlessly with C# and Visual Studio 2015.

It was the right item/part number, quick delivery and handling----what can I say---perfect order. It works great! Very good reliable seller I will say. Easy and very clear instructions for assembly.
