My chicks loved this product! The only problem I noticed was the wood was cheap. Other than that this is a nice product!

I wasn’t really expecting to have to assemble it myself. It probably says it somewhere but I didn’t see it. However, the screws and wood are of really good quality and it looks just like the picture. If I didn’t have to assemble it myself I would have given 5 stars.

Perfect perch for chicks to start out with.

This is a good little roost for very young chicks. I would say no older than 3 weeks. The top bar is the only bar my chicks used. The lower bars are too low for chicks older than that. They did love to sit on the top bar. It fits 2 chicks pretty well but they preferred only 1 on there and would fight over who got to use it. So it’s pretty small. Overall not worth it unless you only have a few and only plan to use it for a couple weeks.

The triangle shaped roost and longer roosts are great training roosts for small chics.At 3 weeks, I added the longer roost to the triangle roost. My girls are big bielfelders.At the 5th week, I added another long perch and the three roosts are working perfectly together. I suspect it will work well till they go outside.Because the roosts are smaller, and my brooder is round, I was able to place roosts at the wall pannels, leaving play space in the center of the brooder.The roosts are well made and easy to clean with a little scraper and water.I appreciate the price point, so I can add as my girls grow. Thank you

Very very small. This is not sufficient even for a chick. Even if chicks do use it, it's only going to be for about 4 days. The diameter of the roosting poles is so small that for flat-footed chickens this is quickly a problem and they can't use it .Don't bother.

The chicks loved it when they were tiny. Once they moved outside they stopped using it. I thought maybe the bantams would keep using it but they preferred the big girl perches.Still glad I got them to deal with the restless baby phase. It was pretty easy to clean and I can keep it for my next round of baby chicks. Because, you know, chicken math
