Easy to use, durable and effective. This is a lifesaver. I’ve been clenching for so many years and have tried the professional orthodontic guard which cuts the roof of my mouth because sometimes I clinch so much! Decided to try this device years ago so I interchange with my other device just so my teeth don’t move. I recommended this to a friend who was experiencing headaches this month and this has worked wonders for her immediately. It is bulky and it takes a little bit to get used to. This is so worth it. Try it you won’t regret it. It really prevents you from clenching down on the back of the teeth so hard. I just ordered one for my daughter and I’m hoping that she will have the same great results! By the way I just ordered another dental guard that goes on the front of the teeth as I will use three devices interchangeably So that I’m not biting down on the same exact spots if this makes any sense. This thought came to me this week so I figure I have nothing to lose.

No boil and bite for the fit is needed, just a simple length adjustment, if necessary, for a comfortable fit. Stays in place all night and protects my cheeks from an accidental bite if my teeth and jaw start moving. Very happy.

No boiling water etc. Easy to fit.To soon to see if it will help me.

Too big for my mouth. It protects my teeth from clenching and grinding but the sides are too large and dig into my gums/cheeks and leave me with painful raw sores in my cheeks. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a small mouth.It does provide great protection for your teeth though. If it weren’t so big I would prefer it over my molded full bottom guard from my dentist. That one seems to make me clench more because all of my teeth are still in contact but with a barrier. I like how this one keeps your front teeth completely separate with no barrier.

I have tried multiple mouth guards, including one just like this in the past, I sleep with retainers occasionally so didn’t think this would be that difficult to get used to but it is incredibly uncomfortable! The parts that go in between your back teeth are hard so your teeth don’t sink into them at all and while I understand the need for them to be durable for grinding, they have to have some layer of comfort! They rub on the back sides of your tongue as well, and that wakes me up multiple times a night to readjust my bite or take it out. I will buy another one that can be molded, those seem to work great and stay in place without interrupting my sleep like this one. FYI these mouthguards are non returnable through Amazon so maybe purchase it from CVS or your local drugstore with a good return policy - in my opinion, if a company stands by their product, they should be willing to take it back and toss it out so you can purchase one that works for you.
