Bought a flag from this very same listing in Nov 2019 - it was a 12 x 18" SEWN (embroidered) flag, 100% cotton, super-nice quality. After 2.5 years it had faded, so it was time to get a new one. I looked up the old order and re-ordered what I assumed was the same flag. but NO! The link for the listing directly from that 2019 order takes you to this one, where I didn't notice they had replaced the 12 x18 size with 11x15, which is very incorrect and "square" (correct proportions for a US flag are 10:19, so either 12x22 or 11x21 would be officially correct - the 12 x 18 is much closer to this!); and in addition they changed it from the heavy cotton sewn & embroidered flag to a printed lightweight polyester flag. To top it off, I paid $12.96 in 2019, and this time it was $16.29 for a far inferior product!I was hoping for a nice refreshed flag for the 4th of July, but it looks like I'll be returning this one in favor of another, better-quality option from a vendor that hasn't played a "shell game" with their product listing.

Flag in the photo is cotton. The stars are embroidered on. Each stripe sewn on. Valley Forge tag in the back. I bought that flag last year and ordered another this week.The flag I just received is printed on nylon. Smaller than the one in the photo and there is no tag. Apparently this nylon version is their new design. Amazon definitely needs to update the information for this listing.I wanted to let people know that what you see is not what you’ll receive.

NO! NO! NO!! Either this is a very low quality flag or it is old stock that is very faded (less likely) or it has been used for a long time! It came in a bag, but instead of being red and light blue and yellow like is shown in the photo and like other USMC flags have been that I bought from flag companies, this one is overall a dull rose color, and what should be light blue is grey, and the words are very hard to read! Never saw such a faded out flag in my whole life! Not even the ones I buy for a dollar locally have ever been faded like this even after being on our front door for months! NEVER SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT FROM THIS SELLER! I only did because I needed the flag fast to honor deceased Marines, and flag companies take longer to ship than Amazon.

Further update. This flag no longer has sewn stripes and embroidered stars. It is printed on polyester. Which will probably last longer without fading, but it just doesn't have the same class.Faded almost beyond use in 6 months. I will have to replace it soon. I wish it were nylon rather than cotton. I've had flags of that material that did not fade.And it's really an inconvenience to have a flag give out soon, because you've got to dispose of it properly.********I didn't know until I found this flag that you could get a garden flag with sewn stripes and embroidered stars. I really love this little thing. Seems well made and very classy. Please remember to light it if you're going to leave it outside at night.

Looked great out of the package but in less than a month of proudly displaying a symbol of my service, the once bright colors are rapidly fading. Maybe it's possible that the fading symbol of a service that was once dedicated to a great nation is just following the current woke attitude to deminish all things that represent what made this nation great.

Overpriced for the tiny cheap material you receive. I’ve over heavy quality nylon flags many times. This come folded in A 2” wide package Highly disappointing!!

On July 30, 2016 I bought a USA flag for my garden for $7.95 In June of 2017 my flag was faded and I needed to replace it. I found this one and it was made in USA so even thought it cost more ($11.24) I decided I would buy it. Well I ended up having to replace this one (made in USA) on September 2017 as it faded really bad. As much as I want to buy USA products I want some quality in what I buy.

I have had this flag for a year, exposed to the elements, and it is still in good condition. Not frayed, torn and just a little faded. I expect it should last 2-3 years before it needs to be replaced. Not bad.
