It could do with a bit more information on the lest touristed islands compared to Ko Samui and Phuket but it is a good overview and does help to compare and contrast islands. I made notes from the book on a piece of paper instead of taking the book with me, though it isn't big and chunky so easy enough to take the whole thing if it ends up being all relevant to you.

This book is an excerpt of another book, "The rough Guide to Thailand." They just took chapters from the larger book as-is and made this shrink-wrapped book, WITHOUT saying so anywhere in the book description. I ended up buying both books. It feels mindless and careless on the publisher's part.
