The Makro gold racer works amazing I am very happy with it, finds gold, coins and most all other metals but the only thing I found bad was the target ID'S don't show what they should gold should be in the 70's but is 48 all day long

Great on Gold.
Found a Gold Ring on a Park with the Gold Racer in an area hammered to death area with 20 different detectors. Not so deep or strong response on big silver coins or even smaller silver coins but will find them you just get a much softer response. Looking for Gold Rings Inland this is my number 1 choice. I Get a fair share of coins as well perfectly usable as a coin shooter but not so deep.. The shape of the coil helps amongst the trash too. Looking for Copper Coins or large Silvers, I would not use this machine for sure. A low frequency machine of say 5 Khz - 10 Khz would be much better. Strong response on Gold Rings and Cupro coins (20p) etc.
