Affordable quality
This was my first time buying a vacuum sealed duvet. I panicked a little when I saw how flattened it was with all the feathery fluff so smashed up like that. I wasn't holding much hope that the down and feathers would recover from being so seriously crushed. After taking it out of it's vacuum sealed plastic, it took a while to fluff up and I was relieved to see it fluff to the size of a normal all weather comforter. It doesn't have an unpleasant oder as some, even much more expensive ones do. And it's the least crinkley sounding duvet I've owned. The softer sound did concern me a little since the thick material that makes the crinkle sound is what keeps so much of the down from working it's way out of the comforter. But it's been over a month and no more than the usual fluff or feather here and there has worked itself free. Much like the more expensive duvets. The pros far out way the cons with this one. My bedroom didn't smell like a chicken coop. The light weight feathery down is just as soft and cloud like as an expensive duvet and much more affordable. It's made with organic cotton. It's warm, but not suffocating for a hot sleeper. It's less noisy than many others, and still keeps the majority of it's feathers. Spend under $100 for a nice duvet and sleep in comfort as if you spent $300+.Really, the only thing it lacks is loops for the ties. It only has four corner loops and no support on the sides and ends. It's not a major issue but the underside of the duvet cover moves to the top on one end and the top moves to the underside on the other end, which the edge ties would prevent. If not having the edge loops for tieing the duvet more securely isn't a big deal, then this is a great duvet. Just give it a quick shake every morning when you make the bed and it'll be there all fluffy and inviting for you to want to fall into at bedtime. When it comes to quality and price, it's a really good buy.

My first duvet!
I have been reading about the benefits of sleeping on linen sheets and made the investment of buying both linen sheets and a linen duvet cover. While searching for an insert for the duvet cover, I came across this comforter. I wanted something “ more natural “ so I chose this goose down comforter. It comes vacuum packed in a plastic bag. I followed the directions and fluffed it up in the dryer for 10 minutes. It came out soft and fluffy! It fit perfectly inside my newly purchased duvet cover. My only complaint is, my duvet cover has six ties inside to secure the comforter inside to keep from bunching up, and the comforter only had 4 loops ( one on each corner) to tie to. I wish it had all 6.It is a scorching hot summer here in TX and even though the comforter is lightweight, it is very warm. I know I will love it more this winter when the weather cools off. As others have said, it does make a slight crinkling noise, but that doesn’t bother me at all.I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others (in fact, I already have). I just wish it had those two extra loops in the center of the top and bottom to help keep it in place when using as an insert.

Very Warm
South East US review. It’s a bit much for the south. Buti still enjoy using it nightly. It’s perfect for the Midwest or Northeast and probably early winter and late fall for the North. The quality of stitching and fabric is good. The down is real. For softness of fabric is semi soft. Don’t expect 400 count Egyptian but comfortable enough not to require a duvet. Note: factory smell dissipated within a day of being unpacked.

Pretty nice
The only negative thing is that the there is a certain smell when you get it. They explain it on their packaging, but it still take a while to go away. Other then that, it’s very comfortable, the feathers don’t come out, it looks really good and it’s good quality!

Gets fluffy, super warm and is super crunchy
It came in with stains (orange and black?) and smells like it was left in the washing machine for a week (mildew) which is annoying because it’s not machine washable so I guess I’m just supposed to sleep with this bag of stench maybe it will go away?It sounds like my duvet cover is full of plastic bags or something…I put it in the dryer with a bunch of dryer sheets and am going to give it 3 days before returning- I’ll try and update if I keep it and the smell and crunch improves because the price is right for real down.Update! After using it for a few days I’m changing my review to 5 stars even though the crunch of this thing is reminiscent of sleeping on a plastic lined toddler mattress. It’s super warm, heavy and fluffy- compared to my last duvet which was 3x the price I love it. There is no smell now.My husband says it is too warm but he appreciates not having my ice feet pressed on his back as often so I think he will be happy with it as well.

Perfect
I actually bought this after I heard the host of a radio show talk about how he had bought a very heavy all-feather comforter that he could crawl under and not move all night.I went on Amazon and this was obviously the one he was talking about. It is heavy, stiff and crackles - a lot. It is not smooth and feathers do stick out and you can sometimes feel the quills. That said, I have been sleeping under it every night this winter. You can crawl under it, not move and get deep, deep, warm sleep. I have a wonderful, soft, fluffy down comforter which is perfect for warmer weather. This one is not really soft or fluffy but when it is cold, there is nothing better than a heavy feather comforter!

Comfortable and warm
It works fine. Very warm. The temps dropped down to the low 30s. I don't like using a heater. I was very comfortable.Edit: 6 weeks of using it. The comforter bunches up in lumps leaving other areas flat.

Material not as expected.
The "ultra soft organic cotton" is a bit like paper. It makes crunchy noise. It is not 'ultra soft'. The weave is very tight like it should be. The billowing is minimal. It's ok for the price.

Even better than I hoped!
This past week with my new duvet has been the best sleep I've had in years. It feels like you're sleeping in a cloud. Fluffy, crunchy, not too heavy, everything I was looking for in a duvet! I am so happy I decided to spend a little more on this duvet than getting one of the cheaper ones. Truly exceeded my expectations!
