nice bright light , just its a bit large bulb and had to take fixture apart and modify it to work so happy wife now

I initially bought a pair in March 2022 to put in two light fixtures. One of the bulbs burnt out in two months. I contacted the seller. They were super responsive. They quickly sent me a replacement set of two. I put one it. Worked for two months but began to have issues. This time it's different. It didn't burn out like last time. Instead, when turned on, it would stay on for a few minutes and turn off. Then would randomly come back on, and off again. I thought I couldn't be so unlucky to have a bad bulb two times in a row. I was certain that there was something wrong with the light fixture. I decided to replace the light fixture. Before putting in the new fixture, my electrician tested my old light fixture and said it was totally fine. Then he jiggled the bulb itself and as he did it, it would turn on and off. He told me that he was absolutely sure it was the bulb itself. Some contact inside was loose. I put in the second bulb of the replacement set the seller sent me. Well, so far, it's been staying on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The cob tubes are supposed to save on electricity and last a long time. But if they develop issues that quickly it defeats the whole purpose. I hope I'm just one unlucky soul. I went through a pair of dimmable cobs before buying this product.

Trouble -- I was excited to use these instead of the halogen equivalent. initially, they worked well, yet one of the bulbs already has problems. After about five weeks of use, one of the bulbs already has failed. Both lights will come on, but one behaves like it has almost no power.I was looking forward to repurpose a pair of old halogen shop lights, as yard flood lights to light up large sections of landscaping. Since they are outdoor work lights, I was pretty confident they would work well in the new role. As mentioned in several other reviews, the bulls were a little bit of a challenge to install. As with the other reviews, the bulbs are thicker than their halogen equivalent, even though they taper at the ends. Yet with a bit of finagling they fit in the same fixture as the halogen.Initially they worked great! Unfortunately, only after five weeks of use, one bulb has a problem. I swapped the bulbs in the fixtures, and the problem follows the bulb.

The bulbs were supposed to be a replacement for my halogen bulbs in outdoor security lights. They are quite bright, but do not shine as far as the halogen bulbs. Also, because of the shoulder on the replacement bulb they do not fit in all my lights. I have had to replace some lights over the years and some lights have a metal collar that prevents these bulbs being installed.

Seems ok. About 1/2 as bright as original halogen. Dimmer function is not smooth, but kind of works. The brightest setting is where I'd leave the halogen at so it's fine for me.

These lights flicker very fast such that it seems like steady light until there’s a fast motion like water falling from the faucet then you may notice a fast strobe effect. I can make out individual drops of water in what would seem like a continuous stream from my faucet had I had a halogen light.This light is also dimmer than the 100 W halogen it replaced.

The bulbs are awesome. One of three stopped working within a few weeks of installation, but I suspect it is my lap/wiring and not the bulb. Difficulty installing was definitely due to my bathroom wall lamp.

The bulbs were very difficult to install in my shop light. I had to take out the screw holding the reflective material and cut the ends of the material for the bulb to fit. Also I had to use a pick to get it to fit into both ends of the fixture. Once it was installed, it only blinked. It would not stay on. I tried both bulbs and had the same experience. I am returning them. I am purchasing similar bulbs by Chener. Their bulbs worked on my other shop light that used smaller bulbs.Update: 8-2-18. It turns out the lighting fixture was defective, not the bulb. These bulbs would have worked just fine. The one side of the shop light that had the blinking bulb would also not work with the original halogen bulb. I do not know why it failed. Both sides worked when I started this bulb update project. The other side took the halogen and LED bulb and they both worked. Bottom line is I cannot blame the LED bulb. I changed my rating to 5 stars.

After two months one of the bulbs started to flicker on and off intermittently and now it is so frequent it is annoying. Unfortunately when I return these bulbs for a refund my light fixture won't have any lights until I purchase new ones. Very inconvenient and poor customer service on the company's part in not sending a replacement for the defective bulb.

The sheen with these bulbs don’t match the current bulbs we have so we can’t use them;then to top it off they can’t be returned;to say the least I am not impressed
