This folder is amazing! It is extremely sturdy and compresses down making it very portable. I keep three of them to label all of the sub folders accordingly to my documents. There's a ton of folders allowing me to organize my documents with ease. The included labels are perfect for identifying each folder. Overall the organizer was pristine upon arrival!

I've bought several of these over the past year- to organize bills, large photos that don't fit in albums, important paperwork etc. There are 12 or so dividers with colored tabs and the folder expends to hold quite a lot. It closes with an elastic string/button which hasn't given me problems (usually the elastic starts to give after several years). The exterior is a hard but flexible plastic so I feel it will protect the papers inside better than a soft exterior. I'm sure I'll buy more as I need them! Super reasonably priced too!

It meets all the needs for medium-level usage; not too flimsy, but not over-the-top. If you have more than, say, an inch of documents per section (or need to be able to see the tabs above the documents), I would try a file that was a bit larger/heavy-duty. Otherwise, for my current needs, it works great! I've bought two of these; for some reason, both times, they arrived super-fast... not sure why, but I am not complaining! :-)

We’ve used several expanding file folders over the years for organizing documents, and this Amazon Basics is affordable and practical. Compared to other brands, it offers more pockets at a lower price, which was the main reason we gave it a try. The colored label tabs are nice—they make it easy to categorize sections at a glance and keep things neat without much extra effort. Functionally, it gets the job done. We use ours for long-term storage of infrequently accessed paperwork, and in that context, it works well. It doesn't take up much space, and the lightweight build makes it easy to store or slide into a drawer. That said, there are a couple of trade-offs to be aware of. First, the material does feel a bit thinner than higher-end options, so I wouldn’t recommend it for daily or heavy-duty use. If you're constantly in and out of it, it may start to show wear. Also, while it does expand, each pocket has limited give, so if you plan to load it with thicker stacks of paper, it may feel a bit restrictive. Lastly, it's worth noting that the price has increased recently, which makes it a little less of a no-brainer than it once was—but still a better deal than most brick-and-mortar store options. In short, this is a good buy for basic organization needs, especially if you handle it gently and value functionality over premium build quality.

It’s okay, but not very expandable. Good for ~1-5 page docs but bulks up quickly beyond that. Also, it’s not very deep. Not much wiggle room for anything bigger than A4. In this case, the doc protrudes and closing is impossible. I’ve only used 6 slots and it’s stressing the stretchy closing loop. I’ll use a small bungee cord to secure/close.

Strong good quality

Fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an. Ich habe ihn seit mehr als einem Jahr auch in der Sonne stehen und konnte bisher keine Anzeichen von Alterung des Kunststoffs feststellen.

Was my second purchase. Love this expandable file set. Works great. Well made! Is perfect to store documents. Holds alot!
