Great!
Works great! Used or for several time lapses (resulting up to 28 hours) obviously a battery would have died maybe 3 times and needed changing. Think power supply is perfect!Seems good quality!Used in my d7000

It works very well
A simple device that works really well on my Nikon D850. The lead is long enough to be able to position the camera where needed. I did notice the camera getting a bit hot but I guess that is to be expected when running a 4 hour online session. The key thing is to make sure you identify the most appropriate lead for your kit. This cable is perfect for my needs.

Powers Nikon Z6 II
Per the title it powers Nikon Z6 II (latest firmware as of Nov 2021) without issue. Powered via mains (which comes with this unit) but use it mostly via a V-Mount batteries 8v output into this. I find the official Nikon equivalents to be very expensive.

Good quality, worth the higher price
This is a simple dummy battery block to use an external powersource with your Nikon camera. I tested this on a Z6. It comes in generic white card packagingInstallation was simple, the camera treats it like any other battery. This is a low-power device, so there are no heating-related issues, the transformer just gets slightly warm.Every camera will have recording limitations so you aren’t going to be able to record endless video, but this will basically power your camera many times more than normal.Overall the build quality is very good, this is not cheap rubbish. I wouldn’t have risked my friends amera testing it if I wasn’t confident in it.For the money, this is a good buy, I would recommend staying away from the £20 copies of this device, they are much more likely to do something bad to your camera. F1TP products are a cut above the rest, from my personal experience.

Saves me blazing through batteries when shooting 4K video.
First thoughts:ProsContinuous and uninterrupted power supply to my D850.Stable power when shooting in 4K.Don’t have to worry about swapping in and out new batteries.Fairly long cables so I still have versatility.I can run this dummy battery off a portable power station.ConsThe cable trench was too narrow for the thickness of the cable so it couldn't lay in its recess, and trying to push or force the cable results in it getting chewed up on the sharp edges of the dummy battery (see pictures).I tend to use dummy batteries when doing longer filming sessions, and this accessory for the D850 is a welcome addition as it also allows me to have more power options when away from a mains socket (using portable power stations instead of camera batteries). The little cable flap on the inside grip of the Nikon D850 was a bit of a lifesaver in this situation, the cable on the dummy battery was too thick to sit inside the channel on the battery adapter. Luckily, between the cable flap on the camera body and a little give with the battery compartment door, I did get it to fit (albeit with the compartment door sitting not quite flush).Details and things to note (See pictures):EN-EL15 battery adapter for the Nikon D850 and other models that use this battery type.Provides standard power at 7fps burst rate, so I’d still need to prioritise my battery grip if I wanted to shoot at 9fps for any reason.3 part accessory with the battery with attached cable that sits in the camera body, power connector to IEC C7 2-socket plug, power block to 3-pin plug. All fits in a fairly small package but I mention the parts as the more parts, the more points of failure are possible.Final thoughts:The dummy battery works well in providing a mains powered/continuous power solution so I don’t have to worry about batteries running out while filming, or stopping short and interrupting the flow to swap batteries in and out when shooting in power-hungry 4K.Other than the thickness of the cable causing a minor issue (which was easily solved for me), I’d highly recommend grabbing one of these if you use a compatible camera as part of a Vlog or video setup, especially if you tend to have the camera indoors in a fixed position for frequent use.

Works fine but of limited use for the average amateur photographer
It does what it's supposed to do, which is to supply power to the camera. But this item is only of use to photographers working from somewhere like a studio as it obviously needs to be connected to a mains supply in order to operate. The fact that the battery compartment lid won't close on my Nikon D7500 is a real minus for me, as it's only the little yellow catch that's stopping the battery falling out.The item came nicely packaged with a longish lead which is a plus but not too important if you're stuck in one spot. All in all, this would be a useful item for a portrait photographer for example, but not really too useful for your average hobbyist photographer who's taking photos outside and on the move.

Works great!
This adapter is great for studio work. Simply plug in, get set up and you have power for as long as you need. The biggest criticism is that the fig 8 power cable is a little short - luckily I have no shortage of cables so this was easily replaced, but it might be worth budgeting for a longer one of these too. It's worth noting that it's advised to turn the adapter off after periods of long use so do bear this in mind before you blow up the adapter, or worse, your camera!

Excellent power supply adapter that works
This AC power supply adapter provides unlimited power to a camera through the AC outlet so you don’t have to replace the battery from time to time making it perfect for a whole day photoshoot. The main purpose of the product is to replace the battery of the camera and enjoy a non-interrupted shoot. This power adapter kit is suitable for Nikon camera models like Z5, D750, D7100 and more. Its specifications include a worldwide input of Global AC 100-240V 50/60Hz and an Output of DC 9V/6A 54W. Its length is up to 10 feet which is long enough for studio or outdoor shooting. In addition, it has a built-in smart chip that protects the adapter and camera from over-heating, over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit. Just a safety reminder that once the power adapter kit is continuously used for 4 hours or more, you must stop using the camera for 2 hours to prevent any damages or other problems.Upon purchasing this kit, you will be getting an EH5 AC Power Adapter, EP5B DC Coupler, US Plug AC Cord, and of course 365 days warranty. The brand also offers 24/7 email after-sell so if ever problems occur, you can easily contact them. For the moment of truth, I must say that this is a very useful product. Imagine saving yourself from the hassle of bringing backup batteries, chargers and frequently changing and charging the batteries once dead. The adapter is also easy to use and very user-friendly. Just insert the ep5b dc coupler into the battery compartment, connect the wired battery to the power connector, plug it into the power socket through a cord, connect the eh-5 external power adapter and it's done. Just simple as that. I used this the last time we did a photoshoot and it was such a lifesaver.Overall, I am really impressed with this product, it is so useful for me and the amount of photography I do and it is priced reasonably.

Great for studio shoots
I got this mainly for studio shoots of our product sets. It works out to be about the same price as an additional battery, but we could be shooting for hours at a time and would need several. It was a good fit on my 7500 and worked as it should.

Extremely Useful Kit
This Nikon-compatible power supply adapter/dummy battery combo's ideal customers are studio photographers who shoot continuously for hours on end, taking thousands of pictures and/or multiple videos in a single session. The pack removes the need for backup batteries, allowing photographers to shoot using mains power. This is extremely handy for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it lets the photographer concentrate fully on the subject he's shooting - there's no longer any worry about batteries running out of juice, and therefore no more nagging need to repeatedly check battery power during the shoot. A more focused (no pun intended) photographer takes better pictures than a distracted one. The other big advantage is that while using the dummy battery setup, a photographer will never again experience the frustration that happens when a camera's battery power cuts out unexpectedly in the middle of shooting video or burst photos. The only way that could happen with this piece of kit is if there's a power cut to the mains supply. As long as your mains supply is good, you can shoot continuously with no trouble at all. The adapter's manufacturer recommends turning off the kit for a couple of minutes after every four hours of continuous use. This allows it to cool and extends its lifetime. It also allows photographer and models to have a timely cup of tea or coffee, as four hours of continuous shooting can be demanding mentally and physically. There's nothing to criticise about this kit. It's extremely useful and comes at a decent price.

Great for Studio Work
If you shoot a lot of photo's in a studio or similar then one of these power supply's could be a good idea, I fitted it to my D800, simply put the dummy battery in the battery compartment, in the case of the D800 and D850 there is a rubber grommet that you remove so as to feed the cable through and close the battery cover, then just plug it all in and it's all systems go, no needing to swap battery's halfway through a shoot. The power lead is I think just a little on the short side being around 1m from plug to power supply and another 1m from the power supply to camera so just a couple of meters in all, if you are not close to the mains plug you will need an extension cable, especially if you are the kind of photographer that likes to shoot hand held and not on a tripod, when I tried it out the power supply hung off the ground when I was standing up which was a bit awkward but I will be using a tripod anyhow as I also have my camera connected to a laptop and can only drag so many cables around.

Works well on my D7000 and D7500
This is a brilliant little mains supply that is a fraction of the Nikon equivalent. You get a small power supply (like a laptop supply) and a dummy battery. The dummy battery has a short lead and barrel connector that plug into the power supply. There's a long lead at both ends and you should be OK even when on a tall tripod. It clips in well and there should be a small flap that opens out to allow the lead to exit the camera and you to close the battery compartment. It's great for studio shoots on even outdoors if mains is available, where you'll be leaving the camera on for long periods.I'd not suggest using live view for all this time as it will get the camera (and sensor) warm, and that will increase noise and possibly decrease the life of the camera in general. It's great for controlling the camera remotely (if you've got Wi-Fi on your version) or just removing the need to keep replacing batteries if you regularly check shots, composition and exposure on the rear screen.
