Nice to the touch.
Bought as a gift to use for a game of checkers on a chessboard. Nicely weighted pieces won't get blown off the board by a wafting breeze.

Perfect for my 13" Backgammon Set
Very nice quality stone checkers, could only find a tiny defect on one. Have a nice solid weight and feel cool to touch. The ivory ones have a slight almost pink hue. Advertised measurements of 1" diameter and 3/16" (0.48cm) thickness, but exact measurements of what I received were 1.04" (2.64cm) diameter and 0.24" (0.61cm) thick (measured by stacking and lining up, and dividing for average). These slightly larger dimensions were a perfect fit for my Silverman & Co 13" backgammon set, and better than the plastic checkers it came with.
