Moen YG5412BN Bathroom Safety 12-Inch Stainless Steel Traditional Bathroom Grab Bar, Brushed Nickel

We recently had our bathroom remodeled and ordered this safety bar to match the oil rubbed bronze fixtures. I was pleasantly surprised by this product, which quickly became my favorite fixture in the shower. It is beautifully made, sturdy for safety, and far surpasses the normal "safety rail" you see in baths. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants class as well as safety. It is amazing!!

This grab bar does not look like an "institutional" grab bar at all! It is very attractive, decorative, and of high quality. It actually compliments our bathroom decor. People of all ages fall while getting in or out of bathtubs or stepping over shower curbs, so having this sturdy grab bar to hold onto could help prevent injuries. We placed one in a vertical position to hold while stepping out of the tub, and another one in a horizontal position to grab while getting up after a soaking bath.

The mounting flanges did not fit flush with my tile walls. They are not adjustable so I had to dissemble each end and drill larger holes for the internal Allen bolts. This fixed the problem but there was no QC check on these handles when they left the factory. It was obvious that the units were not correct. I believe these were made in China.

A little pricey but good design and very sturdy

these are super heavy duty and look very nice.

These are in use now and have been for about a year. They look nice but have been starting to corrode, particularly underneath the bar and around the circular flanges.

Does what its supposed to do

We were looking for something that could double as a towel bar and a grab bar. These are perfect. They don't look so "grab bar ish", and are perfect for a towel bar/grab bar dual purpose. Comes in all the colors you'd expect also.

Looks great, but you have to drill lots of holes, I decided to return product because of it...
