Holes not lining up.
Most of the holes drilled for the screws don't line up with the item it's there for.The back never lines up with the holes for the brads. And the cam locks seem to be getting smaller and cheaper every year. But overall a good product.

Highly adequate, made better by post-purchase upgrades
I have mixed emotions about this shelf, but it is Pretty Okay for what you're paying for it. I bought it with the understanding that I was going to change stuff about it, but I'll talk about that further down. The base shelf is fine. It's Fine. As you can see there is a bit of a gap in the door, but that is nowhere near as obvious without lights in the cabinet. The backing paper is quite literally cardboard, but does at least have a print of a matching grain as the particleboard cabinet itself. The glass doors add a lot of weight, so be sure to actually strap it to the wall, either with the nylon strap provided or something sturdier. Everything is pre-drilled and the instructions are largely image-based, so it's pretty easy to follow and put together. No one in the other reviews is joking, though-- you need two people to put this thing together. As for the upgrades, I hated the handles on the door that came in the box. They mounted too low, they were ugly and I felt like I was going to get my finger caught in them. I bought some plain black cabinet hardware from Local Hardware Store and they are so understated that they blend in when you look at the cabinet head-on. I also added LED lights to the interior and taped all the wires down with black electrical tape. You can see it, but it actually blends pretty well. The cardboard back actually worked to great effect here! I could push it out slightly and wire everything in whatever direction I wanted with little effort and no noticeable damage.

No Quality and over pricerd
This unit was originally priced at $259, but sold at $162.83 + taxes. If I had seen this unit in a store I would not have made the purchase. The packing material is stronger than the pressed wood. First make sure you have two people to assemble it. I started to assemble by myself and had the top and side connected when it fell over ripping out the wood where the cam was. I had some wood glue so glued it back together and 1 hour later had my wife hold the unit as I assembled it. The unit is not sturdy, the cardboard backing was cut on an angle. Having built a lot of these in my life, I know you have to measure both sides before you attach the back, did that but cardboard back just terrible. Just nailed it on as best we could. The to reinforce the back we used some of the packing materal and nailed it to the back so that it would be stronger, and pushing a book into place will not push the back off. The hinges are garbage, and even tight there is too much movement in them, it was a real bear to get the doors aligned and even then there is too much space between the doors. I would not recommed this unit between the poor pressed wood, and the lousy hinges, its just not worth it. The doors are even made from pressed wood. Do not try to move it when it is loaded, because it is not strong enough even without the added weight, it may fall apart. This purchase was a mistake, that I already regret. Even at the sales price it is to costly for the quality.

Not bad, top piece isn't securely attached
For the price, this is a decent shelf! This is particleboard furniture, you're not getting something that can stand up to abuse here. The cardboard backing that's attached via nails is an important part of the structural integrity. Other reviews mention issues with the shelf falling apart when attempting to stand it up, however with this or any other particleboard furniture I would highly stress to keep it laying down until the backing is fully nailed in. You want to loosely attach the hinges on the doors and line them up, then tighten the screws so that they are even, etc etc.The only oddity I came across is the top/bottom pieces. This piece of furniture has some nice corner brackets that connect to the underside to help more securely attach the bottom piece to the sides. I had not seen that in other particleboard furniture and it was a nice touch that helped keep everything stable while fastening everything together. The top however is only help together by two loose plastic dowels towards the back and two locking metal ones towards the front. This made walking the finished cabinet into its final place awkward as I could not count on the top of the unit to provide support for the rest while I lifted.A few screws and some L-brackets from the hardware store should resolve this minor complaint, but it was odd to see the plastic brackets for the bottom and nothing for the top.

Decent quality, needs touch up pen
Relatively easy to assemble, and the base quality is better than I expected. The one downside I see is that with any nick or scuff the composite under-material shows through the espresso finish in several places along the seams and edges, though I suppose this is normal for a non-solid-wood piece of furniture. Mine only had these imperfections along these seems and edges, so I bought a furniture pen (espresso) and it worked perfect... you cannot tell.

Inferior quality
The product arrived with missing screws, holes drilled in the wrong place for the door hinges and damage to the finish. The particleboard is very soft and flakes easily. Inferior quality overall. I would not buy from this company again.
