Solved the problem
These did the trick. I had a pair of wedge sneakers where the insole was a shiny, therefore slippery situation, and my foot lunged forward. I put these way toward the front of the shoe and they stopped the slippage.

works, but impossible to remove
These definitely grip and stay in place well, but if you want to take them out they are IMPOSSIBLE to remove. And they are a VERY thick cushion. They were a bit too thick for the pair of shoes I wanted to use them for after wearing them once, and when I tried to take them out they two sections separated leaving me to have to try to grip and tear the middle cushion in pieces. Super annoying!

So great, except I only got 2 pairs!
So, I'm going to start by saying, when I opened this packaging, I only removed one set of Pedag grips, and didn't check the rest of the packaging, so this is partially my fault, but there were only 2 sets in the packaging and I didn't notice until I used one of them! So I wound up with white and tan, but no black!Aside from the shipping/packaging issue, I really love this product. I put them in a pair of wedges that I have tried two other separate pairs of pads in, but neither was stopping my foot from sliding forward. I had tried a dr. scholls insert for high heels, and a gel pad from the drug store, and both times my foot was sliding around, which is uncomfortable, and made the wedges impossible to wear. With the Pedag grips, that problem is finally solved! I figured out where I wanted to place them by taping them down and trying them out before I removed the backing, thanks to other reviews. I placed them under the ball of my foot, right behind my toes. After placing them, they feel very secure, and my foot is actually staying in place! The small amount of cushioning they provide is also very comfortable. I have fairly wide feet, so I was worried I'd be able to feel where the padding ends and the shoe begins, but I haven't had that issue.I would definitely recommend this product for anyone having issues slipping in their shoes, even if you've tried other products in the past, these actually work!

These work!
Not only are these exactly as described they actually work! I have a pair of open toed sandals that I love but my foot slips in them making them pretty much useless. These do the trick! Placed under the balls of my feet and they no longer slip. So glad I found this product.

Must Get!
I'm only 4'11 1/2 (yes I claim my 1/2 inch) and 90 lbs (no I'm not a child..I'm actually 39 years old), so as you can guess I have extremely small feet. All my life I have had to deal with wearing shoes that are too big. And it's worse with heels!!! I am a paralegal in a law firm so I have to wear heels but the smallest size in the stores for high heels (were I'm not paying hundreds of dollars) is a size 5 and then of course the selection is tiny. Usually what I would have to do is buy high heels that had a strap at the heel. While I was searching the internet (cause we know that we can find anything on here) I came across these Grips. All of a sudden I heard the angels sing. I bought them right away and I am sooooo thankful and pleased that I did!!!! They work GREAT and even better when combined with Pedag Stop Padded Leather Heel Grips (you can purchase them here: [ASIN:B008S9O67I Pedag Stop Padded Leather Heel Grips, Gray, Five Pair] ). Now when using the Heel Grips if after you put one on you still feel like you're foot is slipping out you can add another one on top if the first one.FULL DISCLOSUREI was not paid to do this extensive review. Nor was I given anything for it. This review is 100% my opinion and I did purchase these myself so this isn't one of those "given to me free to do a review".

No slipping forward in all shoes
I have a narrow foot and most toe boxes in shoes a a little wide for my foot..this fills the space and stops my toes from hanging out of sandals or pressing into the toe tip of a shoe

Should come with a warning!!
The product does prevent your foot from sliding forward, but damaged my connective tissue after wearing the shoe a few times. The pad is thick and shaped like a mound, and puts pressure on your forefoot when you step.Since trying out this product, I have been dealing with a torn metatarsal for the last 8 months requiring surgery. I know it was the shoe pad, because when I slid my foot into the same shoe after the pain began, a large jolt of pain ran through my foot and leg. If you place this pad just slightly in the wrong place in your shoe, it can cause damage. This little shoe pad has turned my life upside down and now I can barely walk or exercise. Just waiting for surgery now.

Did nothing - but maybe it's the shoes?
Maybe I shouldn't be reviewing this, and I feel bad offering mediocre commentary after reading so many glowing reviews. I think my shoes just suck. But I'm not sure. I spent many years working in Corporate America and wore heels regularly during that time. It wasn't always easy, but I was young and I bounced back. Now I'm older and I don't need to worry about fashionable footwear for work. I have a very nice pair of heels I wore to my nephew's wedding, and the harm to my feet was insane. Beyond the standard blisters of yesteryear. I'm pretty sure I had nerve damage. AND I kicked those bastards off as soon as we sat down for dinner, and I danced in my stocking feet. We had 3 more weddings coming up, and I thought no freakin' way could I do the shoe thing again. But I really like the look of the shoes and do not want to spend any more money...after buying new dresses and giving gifts...I mean COME ON. So I bought the Girls and got them a week before Wedding #2 (which was mid-November). And...I kicked my shoes off under the table and risked hypothermia at the end of the evening when I walked to the car without my shoes. So, maybe these just cannot improve garbage. Or maybe they really don't do much. It's tough to say. Good luck.
