CLAP300 - Clarity AMPLIFIED PHOTO PHONE

This not only has an extremely loud ring, but the light flashes when calls come in....Not very difficult to set up. All you need is a photo. Very helpful for dementia patients.

I purchased this phone for my mother who moved into Assisted Living in July 2015. The facility provides a telephone for the Residents, but my mother had dificulty using it. She more than loves this telephone! I put family member names instead of the pictures for now. As time goes on I will put the pictures in place of the names. When I stored the telephone numbers I pushed 8 + 1 + 123-456-7890. (The Residents have to push 8 for an outside line) Even for local numbers I had push the 8 + 1 + the area code. There is a Template to use when you want to use a photo. This phone is so easy for her to use, She's 88 years old and some memory dificulty.

Purchased for family with dementia. Awful, awful sound quality on BOTH of the 2 phones I received and we tried a number of different cords to try and resolve. Finally purchased two other similar brands which worked perfectly fine with same cords on same phone jack so that confirmed it was definitely these phones causing the noise issues. Returned these and kept replacement brand!

So far, so good. My dad, who is 90, likes it. I bought the extra warranty. (only a few dollars) just in case it breaks. Only time will tell. Wish they made it in a dark color. I hate white. The pics you use have to be a distant headshot. A close up will be too big and if you try to reduce the size before printing, it comes out blurred. I had to search thru many pics to find just the right ones so he could see who they are. The squares for the pics are small. They include a template to cut them to size.

The phone arrived and looks great. Purchased for my mother to use in assisted living. The phone works perfectly at my house but when installed in her room, the static was so loud to render it unusable. We worked with the assisted living facility and cable/phone company but could not get the phone to work without the extreme static when you pick up the receiver. We ended up plugging in a different phone which worked perfectly. The phone company technician concluded that the phone technology was not up to the job. Too bad, the phone would have been great for my mom with the one touch calling.

My mom is 85 and has lost hearing in one ear and the other has only 20% left. I was skeptical about this phone being of any help to her but it has been awesome. I'm so glad it has worked for her and she's finally happy to be able to talk to family and friends again. Great product!

My mom can now call her friends!

Bought for my father. He needed a louder than normal phone and something with big buttons. This fit the bill. It is loud, you can crank up the volume past that of a normal phone or mobile phone.

Works great for seniors.

I bought this for my grandma if 95. Her hearing and vision are not what they once where. The big buttons allows her to see what she's doing and it's loud enough for her to hear when she's in the phone. I've gotten two for her now, it's the only phone she uses. My only problem with it is the price. It's expensive for what it is.

Bruce will be able to see the numbers which is a good thing.

received phone quickly however may be returning it. All static. How could anyone hear anything let alone an elderly person.
