The Bourne Trilogy

Three great films. Well worth the money!

These discs were good, but had some scuff marks on the front/top. Otherwise, they play great in my 4K blu ray player. I love the original trilogy, and want these for a long time to come.

These movies put forth a high degree of realism, as they travel to the respective plot scenes, leaving little to the studio. That's why they're my favorite movies.

I liked the intensity of the story.

Excellent. I forgot how good this trilogy was, since it's been a while since I've watched them. The price was good. It's awesome that you get s digital copy to watch online. What's the point of buying from ITunes. Buying physical media is better because you get the actual Disc and a digital copy. Usually for about the same price. The negative about buying media from ITunes is you have to watch it from Apples ecosystem. They only provide content in 1080p. And your at the mercy of your network connection. Would you buy a nice 4K TV and put media in the hands of Apple. Did you see them rushing a 4K Apple TV to market so people can watch media in 4K. Nope. They will do it when they are ready and you can bet they will charge you more for 4K media. And I'm not hating on Apple. I have their products but I'm not a mindless consumer, I see through the BS. All of my Apple content resides on my personal media serve. Apple doesn't tell me when or how I get to watch the content I already bought.

This review is for the Blu-ray + Digital version published May 10, 2016. The reason I chose this one vs. the 4K option was mainly because the image of the back of the package showed iTunes as an option for the digital download. (The 4K version did not.) That's consistent with the actual Blu-ray package I received which also showed iTunes as an option. It is not. It forces you into Vudu which then forces you to accept Movies Anywhere connected to Vudu. I've avoided Movies Anywhere like the plague, and have a couple dozen films in Vudu only because that was the only option. I rarely use Vudu because a) I don't like it much, and b) it makes me re-enter a password on my own devices too much (by contrast, iTunes never does this). So having anything digital on those two platforms is kind of useless.Anyway, besides the Blu-ray package being broken (the flippy thing on the inside was broken due to rather flimsy packaging from Amazon - I'll probably buy some new blank cases as this type of thing happens too often), the Blu-ray disks are fine.So just a heads up that the iTunes logo on the back of the package is a lie. The films are great and the extras on these disks are plenty. So five stars on that front.

Disks arrived timely, in new, factory wrapped packaging. I have not played them yet, as I need to purchase a player and have been undecided as to the need for a streaming player vs a straight disc player.

Deals like this are hard to pass up-several good movies at a great price. It had been a while since I'd watched any of the Bourne movies and thought for this price a pristine copy of each on Blu-Ray was a sound investment. I watched all the movies in one sitting which gave a sense of continuity to the stories and a new appreciation for Matt Damon's portrayal of the title character. You also have the making of the movie material included with the discs and most are worth a viewing if you're a fan. I was particularly interested how the car chases are filmed, one of the highlights of each movie. The fourth movie in this series isn't in this package, which for me was the main interest I picked this group. The fourth movie is a disappointment, adding nothing to the Bourne legacy. The video/audio transfer is excellent and for this price, I highly recommend you add this to your collection.

This DVD is probably brilliant, unfortunately I will never know as it will only play on DVD players which are compatible with American equipment. Read the description before ordering!

One of the best trilogies (note trilogies... because I'm not bothering with number four or the spin-off). Delighted that this arrived on schedule and exactly as advertised.

Matt Damon place the role very well. They say that the book story changes a little when made into a movie which true but, I love them both for different reason. Don't criticize, just watch, read and enjoy or you'll only wreck it for yourself. As usual, great service from through and from Amazon.

One of my favorite trilogies ever! Great price for the 3 original movies on BluRay. I chose this set also because it included the Digital HD copies which will work with iTunes for anyone wondering. I'm not a big fan of Ultraviolet Digital. The digital codes work for both iTunes and Ultraviolet.
