Comfortable, Well Made, Top Quality Product
I bought a totally overgrown 34 acre property in North Georgia, and have used these S851A pruners and the Tabor Tools GL16A loppers to help get the place under control. Excellent products! The pruners fit comfortably in my medium sized hands, and still feel good after hours of work. The locking mechanism works easily when needed. I am very impressed with the Tabor Tools products I have purchased, and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. 5-stars!!!

Seems like a quality item.
Works well for it's size; will probably buy a lopper for the bigger jobs.

WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!! Cutting blade flexes leaving a gap beween it and anvil.
WORTHLESS. Cutting blade twists or turns or flexes so there is a gap between the blade and bypass anvil. Therefore, it does not cut through the limb, but leaves a strip of limb and bark still attached. As a 2nd issue, the compound action is only marginally more powerful than a normal pruner. However, the compound action reduces the size of the opening and size of limb that can be trimmed. Is item is totally WORTHLESS.

The fit between blades should be stronger
The compound feature, the reason I bought them, doesn’t provide much mechanical advantage. And the blades have a tendency to turn, making them pull apart slightly when cutting. Overall they work fine, and I don’t regret buying them.

Works well and fits a medium size hand.
I have had this pruning tool for over a month now and have really put it through some paces. I've used it from trimming small tree branches to my Nandina as well as trimming back and using it to shape up my blue rug, juniper. I have not had really any issues with this at all. The blade has done a good job making clean cuts on even a few branches larger than I probably should have tried to prune.I don't have a huge hand and luckily these feel pretty comfortable and I am able to get a good grip on them. I like the spring tension and it seems to work well. They also seem to be made fairly well as I've never used this brand before but in doing a little research on them fine them to seem like a quality company. Overall, a great tool to replace my hand printer that's probably 15 years old!
