it was the recommended tag printer for my business software. Just check the features list, the same model number at a lower price, wont have the optional thermal ink printing option which my software requires.

If it is sold cheaper than competitors because it is missing pieces then you need to add that to your description. This is not usable or what I expected from an Amazon seller. Not happy at all!

Do Not ORDER! My business ordered two of these label printers and BOTH arrived with missing internal gear pieces that are necessary for it to work. We were so disappointed. Without these pieces the product is completely useless. Buyer beware, don't waste your money. Honeywell, the manufacturer, will not stand behind the product or provide the missing parts because ordering from Amazon is considered a 3rd party vendor.

I know this product to be a fine product. We purchased it to evaluate the use in a large rubber processing plant. Our concern is more for durability. However, we were very upset when we opened the product and found the thermal film supply & take-up gear was missing. I believe it may have been a "repack" from the distributor. I have since ordered a replacement from another distributor. If indeed it was a repack, Amazon should keep track of such events and inform their suppliers to resist such practices. SO I am not rating the product here just their distributor.UPDATE: After this review was written I was informed that the problem was that I ordered the wrong printer. The printer that I received was NOT missing any parts and was NOT a "re-pack as I had previously stated. The vendor contacted me and informed me of my mistake.
