Replaced my 4 year old OEM rubber hoses with these. I couldn’t believe that the stock hoses were so severely cracked after only 4 years despite them being covered by a tank cover and a trailer cover. These new woven metal hoses are incredibly well made and with the gauges are an outstanding buy. I would highly recommend these to anyone still using rubber hoses on their RV. I installed mine in less than 5 minutes making sure I used yellow “gas” Teflon tape. Checked all connections with soapy water and had zero leaks. Now some installation advice. Make sure when you are screwing the new line into the regulator 1) make sure you don’t cross thread. The brass nipple will screw in easily for the first 2 or 3 turns even with the Teflon tape (about 2 turns of tape around the nipple prior to screwing into regulator) 2) Make sure you turn the entire hose assembly when screwing into regulator. This will prevent the chance of causing leaks at the crimp joints. I highly recommend these hoses. Safe and happy camping.

These are cheap junk. I went to use my RV and found both propane tanks empty after having these installed. I checked for propane leaks when they were installed, but they must have developed leaks shortly after. Unfortunately I missed the return window, so these are junk and going into the garbage. Do not buy...stay away from these hoses. Too bad there's not a zero star option, because that a what they deserve.

Added these on to our 2012 Deluxe Mobile Suites 5th wheel. The standard rubber ones they sell at the RV store need to be replaced every year due to weathering & cracking. I decided to step up to these for durability purposes.The bonus: They come with gas gauges! Win win..Tuesday February 13, 2024Still using these steel braided hoses with brass fittings and haven't had a single issue. Gauges still work accurately and are so convenient for monitoring purposes. Constructed very well and probably the most durable propane hoses available. I’ve had to replace the regulator summer of 22 and the tank just this last fall of 2023. Tanks have to be replaced every ten years as they expire! Who would’ve known. Regulators go bad about every 5 years. If you are debating on buying these, think no more. These are well worth the investment and even look neat. Rubber hoses just don’t hold up during the summer heat. They dry out, crack and need replacing all too often. I’ve ran into issues during the night in the thick of winter. We live in riverside county, California where the temperatures range from 116+ during the summer and drop down in the 20’s during winter. We’re going on 4 years now hot & cold and i am so happy with my purchase
