Is it old age or the mouse itself came in damaged?
Was hyped up to get this mouse because of cs, but as I test out the mouse it won’t pick up on the computer. Kept turning off and on, must be an issue with the usb cable. Tried troubleshooting & updating the drivers, still no effect. Please be careful guys, I was disappointed.

Excellent but rare mouse
I've bought this mouse using Amazon site as in my country this mouse is not available any more. I guess it is not into production any more(?). What is better - with postage & package and mouse price, it is cheaper than as it was in physical store here.I love this mouse. I have used it for years until wheel start to stumble. Then I bought two another similar, but never get used on them. So I bought the same mouse again. There are 3 features that any or most other mouse does not have. First is non-linear cursor movement. If you move it faster it moves more faster. If you move it slow, it moves even slower. That allows super precision and quick to have pointer over target.Second is non-linear wheel scroll. I think that any other mouse does not have this feature, while it is actually driver related only. That is - if you are reading PDF book and move wheel slow full turn, as much as you can, it will scroll half the page. If you move it really quick, one full turn, it will scroll several 10's of pages.Once you get used to this non-linear behavior you can hardly find any other mouse.Third feature are two thumb buttons that are programmable on application level. In browser they can be back and forth, in PDF reader page up & down, in (say) Total Commander it can be Pack and Unpack commands. Whatever you want, but usually most used keyboard shortcuts. This is one of the best mouses I have ever used. Actually, it is THE best. And it is big enough for adult.

Best mouse I've ever owned
My previous Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 wore out in about 8 years of continuous use when the main "left click" button started getting noisy. I was thrilled to learn that this very model is still available. There's a reason: it's a great mouse! If you're right handed, the shape is perfect. The detents on the 3rd-button wheel work well for gaming, and the thumb buttons are nice for browsing (esp. "back" button). The optical sensor is reliable and works flawlessly on every surface I've tried. I highly recommend this full-size mouse for use in a standard desktop setting.

I fell for the "perfect accuracy" meme
Yeah, it's a perfectly accurate mouse. It's also fixed at 400 DPI, which is painfully slow on a reasonably-sized monitor. Fortunately, I'm travelling and only have my 13'' laptop, so it's not that big of a deal, but if you have a multi-screen setup or have a small mousepad, you might want to look elsewhere. The real issue with this mouse is that the more likely you are to need "perfect accuracy", the more likely you are to be doing something hardware-intensive, so the more likely you are to have large monitors. There are cheaper mice for your craptop and more expensive mice for serious gaming. It's still a decent mouse, but hardly worth the hype.Physically, it's on the larger side, and the surface is smooth plastic. The mouse buttons have a hair-trigger, so it's easy to press one by accident, particularly the RMB. The side buttons also feel a little loose. The scroll wheel is pretty standard fare. Overall, the only real reason to get this mouse is the sensor, which is probably not enough to make up for its shortcomings. Once I get back home, I'll be sticking to my Zowie.

This has been my favorite mouse my whole life.
I have always loved this mouse- the problem with them, is RIGHT after their 12 month manufacturer date they break. They don't just break, they start double, or triple clicking for every single click. I've bought four. Every four broke. Now, six years later, I found that they are being sold on Amazon! To my astonishment! So I ordered it. I wanted new, but couldn't find it at a even nearly similar price to the used versions being sold all over Amazon. So, I ordered the excellent quality one here for $29.94. It gets here, and instantly gives me issues. It constantly disconnects and reconnects (USB) and then freezes for the few seconds. I play video games and as anyone knows, 3-5 seconds can be the difference between a great win and a huge loss.It began to happen twice an hour, then the next day once every 5 minutes, then the next day once a minute... now it's every 30 seconds. At least.I had to return it. I'm hoping more don't have issues like this one did. I do have to give them credit for quick return and good customer service from amazon.

What a great mouse !
This is thee best mouse for the average user. They tend to last for many years, are easy to grip, work smoothly and feel good on the hand. Sadly they are no longer in production and i have yet to find an alternative that is just as good.If you are an avid gamer than there are tons of other mice that are quicker and more sensitive but for average daily use, this is my favorite.
